I work out a lot. I look like I work out and I dress like I work out. I center my life around being active. As I've aged I've noticed that people who are out of shape tell me these things: I'm too skinny or work out too much or I don't need to lose any weight.

How do you respond to these people who don't understand we're addicted to this lifestyle?

People adopt the role of a harsh ass critic because they feel threatened that your success in getting fit somehow diminishes them or to simply protect their own ego.

Knowing that it's easy to brush it off and say something like "we should agree to disagree, if we switched roles we'd both be unhappy"

they're projecting. you being fit highlights their lack of self control.

nobody is stupid, fat people know how terrible they have it health wise and how unattractive it makes them look.

the internet kind of backfired because you would think having all information available a click away would cause people to learn and improve themselves. it actually had the opposite effect and people just stick to communities where they can circlejerk their terrible opinions (fat-shaming is rude / body positive bullshyt).

I notice that some fat ppl (not all but definitely some) tend to try to nitpick ppl who are in shape, I've seen it happen a lot and each time I was like :dahell:

Fat ppl can be some of the most judgmental ppl and I never understood why, if you're fat you really have no room to be nitpicking others appearance like that, especially size

The phrase fat shaming has always confused me.

Other than the narcissists or legit a$$holes you rarely see fit folks talk shyt their direction because well they're usually working on trying to be the best version of themselves

It's usually the judgemental "look at these skinny bytches" or "people lift for vanity" etc coming towards fit people

Breh when I run to work they don't even let me catch my breath before they start hating or interviewing me. It's really annoying.

I don't talk about my body, they bring it up, but I don't comment on their body or lifestyle. It's not fair that I can't call someone fat or lumpy but they can call me all sorts of shyt.

Or they tell me I have too much energy. LOL breh, I'm just fit, I have the amount of energy a 27yo man should have.

A man my age should be able to run a mile within 6 minutes. They should be able to do pull ups, push ups, and bench their body weight. I don't believe a man should he lumpy or soft. Women are supposed to be curvy and soft.

Buff girls got me like :scust:

Lumpy men got me like :scust:

I noticed some men have the physique of women and some women have the physique of men. The game is fukked up right now.

How am I better in shape than most people younger than me?

It's embarrassing, frfr, when I was a sports trainer very few of the people I worked with could see me in anything other than pull ups. They came to me in shape, my job was to increase their conditioning and coordination.

A lot of men don't respect their bodies at all. Too many drugs, too much shyt food, not enough exercise, they don't meditate, they don't play sports, and I can tell. How you not old but looking flabby and sick.

It's embarrassing. They stay complaining about their bodies and life. When I suggest improving their health and physique they look at me like I'm hating. Lol, naw, I'm just spitting that real shyt.
