I'm not going to go back and forth about how long it takes for a car to completely submerge. It doesn't take a genius to conclude that since all of the windows were up and doors shut, and since the officers could clearly hear the girls screaming for their lives, that there was ample OPPORTUNITY for a rescue attempt to be made.

The cops not only made ZERO attempt at said rescue, they also LIED about it. End of story.

This is my main problem with this sh!t. I don't care about it being a "marsh" or dark outside, or whatever the hell else. Police, INSTINCTIVELY, throw themselves into far worse situations attempting to salvage human lives. And I guarantee if these were 3 white teenage girls, that's exactly what they would've done in this situation too.
