:francis: guess him and his father going to be going at it again.
i don't think floyd appreciates his dad openly talking shyt about manny pre-fight, talking shyt about khan when no fight is being made, etc...and i don't think he liked the way his father was getting at him during the pacquiao fight for everybody to see, too...because that was a topic of convo afterwards.

conversely, with the way floyd is continuing to defend this clown, AB, i hope floyd is actually making money off of him himself. ::stopitslime:

Floyd didn't get over the fact that his pops berated him as "fighting scared" against Manny. That cut Floyd Jr. deep, real deep. I honestly think after Floyd had a chance to assess everything, those words , the way pops yelled at him in the corner, hurt him. It took their relationship down a few notches.

floyd's right, that type of talk is what's wrong with boxing, it's one things for fighters to say it because they get to settle it, but every fighter has been called garbage in some way shape or form, and that's wrong with the sport of boxing

the fight was ugly because what shawn porter fight isn't a ugly hold fest besides the KO with paulie

broner's biggest problem was that he isn't aggressive

he's not a bum

floyd sr is mad because matthew stafford called him out saying he never trained a great fighter besides Floyd saying he was overrated as a trainer, so he's throwing it back in stafford's face, but broner is taking the heat

there can only be one winner, but people pick in choose when to call guys bums when they lose

I gotta agree with Floyd on this one. His dad always goes outta his way to shyt on Broner extra heavy.

:mjlol: at the Bey reference though.

Mickey pretty much extended Molinas career for another 2 years with that performance.

I do think Floyd was fighting scared against Manny though and his pops was right for telling him, but dude went way overboard with it. You would have thought his son was reenacting the final rounds of Tito/Oscar they way his pops was carrying on. :heh: Floyd Sr prolly ain't won't no scorecard fukkery to commence so I understand where he was coming from. Both them nikkas got some serious egos though even when their hearts are in the right place.

Floyd says AB needs to be more focused...they kidnapped this nikka from Ohio...trained him at the Mayweather gym for weeks... It was the battle of Ohio on NBC primetime...if the nikka ain't focused after all that then theres a bigger issue here... A boxing issue :beli:

Floyd was fighting scared the last few rounds. This nikka would not follow that right hand with a hook. His father was telling him the truth.

That's the problem. nikkas want people to kiss their ass. He don't want nobody to tell him the truth.

And how is he going to say his pops on some high school shyt when this nikka acting like a broad when that country grammar ass nikka took his bytch?

^^^^^ He could've won any of these matches and became a multiple Division Champion in the 2000s. He already won 3 Championships in the 2010s:sas1:

That's 2 different Decades where he could easily be a 3x Champion in 3 Different Divisions:sas2:

Floyd fought scared for like 70% of that Manny fight. He'd take one step forward and then 3 steps back.

The 11th round and some parts of the 12th were the only times Floyd was really proactive with it.

In the end, both them nikkas looked awful to me. :scust:

Floyd Sr is right about Broner, but he could say it in a more tactful/respectful way. shyt, if Broner is a bum, then Floyd Sr is less than that because he never achieved any real status in the sport as a boxer and he's best known for giving SRL a couple hard rounds and then catching that work.

Boxing does have too much ass kissing, but nikkas don't need to hate in order to bring balance.

FLOYD MAYWEATHER GIVES POSITIVE ADVICE TO ADRIEN BRONER: "ALL ADRIEN HAS TO DO IS JUST GET MORE FOCUSED"
By Ben Thompson | June 23, 2015
floydmayweatherjr20.jpg

BT: After seeing his performance on Saturday, what kind of advice would you give or have you already given Adrien as far as his career is concerned at this point?

FM: I mean, styles make fights. It wasn't like Shawn Porter did nothing super impressive. At the end of the day, Adrien Broner came from a small weight class and showed you that he got some thump because he put him on his ass. He just waited until the last minute. Anybody is capable of having a bad night. God just blessed me to have 48 good nights, and I'm very thankful and appreciative for that. I respect every man as a man first. Adrien, he's a young black American male that looks up to me and the only thing that I ever tried to do was give him positive advice. He still makes a lot of mistakes and he's going to continue to make mistakes, but as a big brother, my job is to guide him in the right way, and that's the only thing that I want to do. I strive to be a perfectionist, but no one is perfect. He's going to make mistakes and I understand that.

You know, if I'm with you, I'm with you through the good, the bad, and the ugly. I love Adrien Broner, but like I said before, he's still learning. The difference is this between Floyd Mayweather and Adrien Broner, you have to know when to turn it on and turn it off. You have to know the difference between the two. You got Adrien "The Problem" Broner and you got Adrien Broner. You got Floyd "Money" Mayweather and you got Floyd Mayweather. You got to know when to turn it on and when to turn it off.

I mean, Adrien has been through a rough life. He had a very, very rough life, you know. A lot of people want to say, "He's the fake Floyd Mayweather." It's the same thing they used to say about Kobe Bryant. "Oh, you know, he be wearing Michael Jordan..." At the end of the day, it doesn't matter who Kobe Bryant patterned himself after; he's a legend and he's a true champion. All Adrien has to do is just get more focused, make some small changes, and he can be a Hall of Famer. He's not the fake Floyd Mayweather. He's Adrien "The Problem" Broner and he's a very, very close friend of mine. Whenever we speak, I try to give him positive advice.
