Shouldn't Ricardo Lopez be the Goat according to your criteria?

51 wins and 1 draw out of 52 fights. Retired undefeated.
26 straight title defenses.

Dint want to kill the old man :jawalrus:

Prime Tyson had nikkas scared to even get in the ring, heck he scared me just watching :demonic:

Prime tyson is HANDS DOWN the best fighter ever, and would RAG DOLL Ali...

But, the fact that he lost in his 39th fight to a 40-1 underdog is a TESTIMENT to floyd's greatness...

Tyson = best prime ever

Best prime ever = got beat by somebody who had no business beating him.... It'd be like Jordan in his prime losing to J.R. Rider

This is how HARD it is to not lose ONE MATCH..

Floyd hasn't been beat yet... Scrub or no Scrub... HOF or no HOF.... He can't be beat.... fact

RJJ was always taking laxatives and diuretics the day of thee weigh-in, and usually weight 10-15 lbs more on the day of the fight. He was a natural light-heavyweight.

As far as Floyd, Corrales was undefeated until he met his maker in Money May. De La Hoya knocked out the champ Mayorga in one round (:wow:) before fighting May. Can a nikka live?

He fought at middleweight for years so that makes him a middleweight. No matter what his natural weight was he fought for years there and won his first title there. I'll give you Corrales (but he was only very good not great) but Mayorga was overrated and with his style was tailor made for Oscar. Just cause Oscar beat him doesn't mean he was in his prime anymore.

Way to skew my words...

Rocky Marciano = retired 49 - 0 ... I didn't say he's better than Ali

Roy Jones = started 50 - 0 (i'm not gonna count the DQ) ... I didn't say he's better than Robinson

When you COMBINE the Record (44-0) WITH the best stats ever, BY FAR (which roy and rocky don't have)....

This is what makes floyd the goat...

You try to argue one argument (record)... Then another argument (stats).... When neither mean NOTHING if you look at them separately....

But mean EVERYTHING when you look at them TOGETHER....

Yall n1ggas aint dumb enough to NOT comprehend that... You just upset that you hate floyd and he's the GOAT, and you can't dispute it in anyway.:blessed:

why yall keep talking this cotto not his prime shyt Floyd is older than this man
when Floyd was in his prime Bob Arum wanted no parts in putting Cotto in the ring with him

Prime doesn't have anything to do with age. After wars with Mosley Margarito and Manny Cotto wasn't the same fighter he used to be. No way do I think he would have beat Floyd but I would have like to see it before Margarito got to him with the loaded gloves.

Man Cotto got beat up in his fight with Shane and Zab Judah
whats the point

Cotto takes punishment, he took punishment against Floyd and was beat up after the fight. That's just Cotto.

In the second fight with Margaritto he took punishment, hell if pac-roid and blind this nikka I think Margarrito would have won the second fight

this coming from a breh who can't even answer a simple question on what he thinks is the fight of the year in 2013 and why?

its funny in this thread it seems the ones the majority who aren't stanning for Floyd are the ones that have actually dropped knowledge and have a grasp for the sport and the majority of the ones who are stanning for Floyd have shown little to no knowledge about boxing

Interesting

Tell me how he would destroy Hearns :lupe:

I don't think Floyd would roll over Hearns, but bar an early KO I think Floyd would beat Hearns by decision/possible late stoppage. He's handled tall cats with power and a good jab before. Plus you never know with Hearns chin.

:comeon:

A PRIME Benitez's defense >>> He used to make niccas look silly.

After his fight with Hearns, he was a spent fighter who cared more about partying, drinking, and smoking.

Prior to that, he had only been stopped once by SRL, and that stoppage was premature to say the least.

Floyd is 36/37 now, he isn't in his prime and hasnt been for a few years now :manny: and still makes boxers look a certain way

Floyd doesn't do any of what Wilfred did to jeopardize his career, that's an excuse Floyd wouldn't get the luxury of given the amount of hate he gets on here.

I don't think too many fighters have or could have gotten away with what Wilfred did and still carve out a hall of fame career :russ:..Wilfred still paid the price unfortunately :smh:
