I owe 31k right now and will prolly owe 40k by graduation
I owe abt 6k left from undergrad, and I'm not taking any loans for grad because I work for my university so my tuition is covered.
Work in a large firm or Wall Street that will make them go crazy
LMAO.
Finance is a good major, but it depends on how well you use it. Knowledge of money is very important. Something I would also suggest is learning a second language (spanish, french, haitian creole) and getting certifications in different finance sectors (I am not knowledgeable on that but look into it). You can also own your own business later down the road if you take your major very seriously. Why didn't you go into accounting? I'm not knocking your major but truly interested. Some people prefer accounting and some prefer finance.
I wish you good luck with your debt though. I would be crying over that instead of what some chick thinks.
... I refuse to work for these CACS 30 years of my life. I'd rather get rich or die trying..
I go to school for finance i prefer it over accounting bc I hate journalizing entries. I think that's a big reason why I flunked my last accounting course.LMAO.

That was my least favorite part of undergrad.
We lost a lot of people to Chemistry and Physics.
You ultimately made the right decision though, because if your heart truly isn't in it, it's hard to power through.
There's obviously math in med school, but 95% of the time, you're tasked with absorbing ridiculous volumes of information and regurgitating it a week and a half later.
The trick if you're not really a math guy/girl is getting through undergrad.

I'm actually think about going back after I get my bachelors for finance and getting my accounting degree.Interesting.........thanks for the perspective. The accounting majors that I meet say they like accounting better for job opportunities, and the finance majors that I meet like finance because they love learning about financial management.

Of course I have to get better at journalizing. But like yu said financial management is my main interest when it comes to business
