KD getting swept is a non issue, which superstar player with a faulty team hasn’t? KD was just in the MVP conversation before he got injured close to the all star break. If Jokic and especially Luka didn’t win anything ever then how can they ascend to top 3 above Curry and KD. Giannis, Curry and KD is the 3 best players in the league right now.
When y’all coli scouts like a player then it’s logic but when y’all dislike a player it’s emotional agenda.
Why do you view everything two-dimensionally all the damn time?
KD getting swept in the manner he did doesn’t give him sovereignty in these discussions. It wasn’t as if he went out there and performed at a high level - he shyt the bed in every single game, and what made it worse is that they were all winnable games. It wasn’t as there was a mammoth margin in talent and ability between the two teams that he simply couldn’t overcome. Just because he won some shyt about half a decade ago doesn’t automatically carry over to
the now. He legitimately had one of the worst series’/postseasons a superstar has had in recent memory and in the context of discussing where players are ranked, that carries a lot of weight. Especially when Luka, Jokic and Giannis thoroughly outperformed him in the same environment. Now, that’s not to say that’s all that matters when comparing players, but nobody can reasonably argue that KD is without question a better player than all three as it currently stands.
I don’t have an issue with you believing KD is a top-3 player, because he has an argument for being so, the problem is you believing that argument supersedes all else, and your complete lack of comprehension matters to where you felt the need to derail a legitimate thread.
You don’t need to win a title to be in the conversation, otherwise, what the fukk was Bron before 2012? What was KD before 2017? What was Charles Barkley at his peak? What were all the recognised ‘best players in the game’ before they won anything?
