Only to visit family/friends...other than that, I'd be living abroad...I don't have anything willed, and nor would I be leaving behind anything behind substantial....
man u not gonna get stopped at the airport for student loan payments lolI'm no expert but I know they can deny passport apps for overdue child support so I would imagine customs would have your stuff flagged after 5 years or so for like evasion or something whenever you try to randomly re-enter the country. Just a thought. I couldn't imagine not being able to freely come and go from my home country as I pleased.

Lol they would put you in jail for it so I couldn't imagine they wouldn't at least alert the IRS like a notice or something. You see how hard they go for tax evasion. Evading federal loans seems in line with that.
I'll probably pay that shyt off EVENTUALLY; IJS, they got me fukked up if they think I'm gonna be shelling 500+ a month for that shyt...I'm no expert but I know they can deny passport apps for overdue child support so I would imagine customs would have your stuff flagged after 5 years or so for like evasion or something whenever you try to randomly re-enter the country. u kno how many people they would be stopping and throwing in jail if they were doing that b?naw they 'll just be blowing up your families phone looking for u and stuff and ur credit score would be on life support
Yea I understand the sentiment. I seen some article of a guy paying $2400 monthly for 100k in loans. The sheer thought.
Lol you right. I looked up some things since my curiosity was peaked. But how horrible to get your friends and fam harassed. And if you wanna keep US citizenship abroad you still gotta file taxes or if you work for a US based company abroad I imagine they acknowledge your US history/tanked credit/law suits. It just seems like more effort than it's worth unless you make a clean break from the US.
you better know what kind of law school you're getting into .If I get into the law school that I want, I can expect about 150k in Student loans.... And that's before interest.
I just try to tell myself that I'm investing in myself. People invest in cars, houses, businesses and the like, what's wrong with investing in me?
I figure if I say it a few enough more times, I'll believe it.![]()
Sh*t like 60k. I'm on the IBR plan though and working for a non profit so I'm planning on paying a fraction of that and getting forgiveness after 10 years.![]()
Yeah, I know. Law school admission applications are down across the board. Ironically, this is also a reason to try to get into a school. The field is saturated, but that's due, in part, to the economic climate. A lot of older heads are coming out of retirement and not letting younger heads eat. I figure a challenge is either waiting them out/aligning myself with them. It's also a matter of perspective and what you're trying to do though.you better know what kind of law school you're getting into .
apparently they have different tiers and the 2nd and 3rd tier ones arent really worth it like that..you get out and cant find a job. There's such a large pool of law school graduates just drifting in the wind nowadays..the law field bubble seems to be on teh verge of bursting.
