I planned on exiting the country anyway...but idk how that would work if your an ESL teacher (idk if they can fukk with your wages since the company i may wind up working for could be US-based; but like I siad, idk how it would work)....I really don't even want to pay Sallie Mae at all (fukking bullshyt for-profit school, TOTAL waste of money. nikkaz shouldn't have to pay for that shyt)...I don't have a problem paying off my CC bill, but once I transfer to a university, I ain't taking NO LOANS out...

I finally have stable income from a stable job and I've been paying off accounts in huge chunks ($3k, $5k, at a time). Since I'm in the Feds, I'm working on having them pay my student loans. I have no other debts besides my student loans.

I'm 35 yrs old and been outta school mad long ago and I still owe 6k. Lol I pay a little a month and at least a 1k when I get my taxes every year. Honestly they aren't a priority to me, didn't even help me get a job. Waste of money if you ask me but I'm considering going back anyway depending on how my current job works out.

Sorry to say but an econ degree on its own is not gonna do it. Hopefully you're networking right now because that's more important than what's on your resume in most cases.

The thing about econ is that it sets you up to have to get a graduate degree, because you don't have the concrete skills of say a finance or accounting major. Econ is more about theory than it is about practical application in the workforce

if you have debt thats under 25k, i say get another job and pay it off and never again in ur life allow anyone talk u into getting into debt again especially for educational reasons. i dont care what anyone says, u folks in debt for damn near $100,000 lost big fuccking time. no one's telling u this but i will. u lost big time. but i cant blame u. no one warned u. if a student is gonna get into debt over $100,000, the starting salary better be a million. but of course that aint the case for yall.

U don't need to make Millions to pay off a 100k loan. Don't even have to make close to that. If u make 300k a year, ur saying u can't drop 100k and live off 200k for the rest of the year?
