I think they split a Finals. all I know is, if the Rockets had as many cracks as the "they played the Bulls hard" Knicks, no doubt in my mind that unlike Ewing, Hakeem takes them over the top in at least one series.
Bulls would have beat anyone they saw in '94 with MJ

and if that happens, they probably don't lose Horace in '95 and its hard imagining that team losing :francis:

Here's how i would rank the teams the bulls faced in the finals

1. 92 Blazers (they had the talent, length athleticism, but were stupid in the clutch)
2. 93 Suns
3. 96 Sonics
4. 97 Jazz
5. 98 Jazz
6. 91 Lakers (it was remarkable for buck to even take them to the finals)

Also people have to remember, had the 94 bulls team with MJ beaten the rockets in the finals, i doubt they trade for drexler the following year. They wanted another crack at repeating which was the only reason they traded for him the first place. I don't believe the 95 rockets even make it to finals without drexler. It's the spurs and bulls in the 95 finals. IMO

Again, Rockets had 6 chances to meet up with the Bulls in the Finals, so I don't want to hear that shyt that they would have undoubtedly won, fukk that

1991 - they get swept by the Lakers, who go on to get crushed by the Bulls
1992 - couldn't even make the playoffs :lolbron:
1993 - lost in 2nd round to Seattle (what Hakeem stoppers did they have? Seattle platooned two 6'9" guys at Center :heh:)

1996 - swept by Seattle, who go on to lose to the Bulls in the Finals (again, what Dream stoppers did Seattle have?)
1997 - couldn't get past the Jazz, who go on to lose to the Bulls in the Finals
1998 - 1st round loss to the Jazz, who AGAIN go on to lose to the Bulls in the Finals (Ostertag & Foster Dream stoppers? :leon: :pachaha:)

Rockets got bounced 4 times to teams the Bulls went on to beat in the Finals.

and none of those teams had great Centers to match Hakeem.

Bulls got bounced in 95 to the young upstart Orlando Magic who wait had a dominate center....mmmmmm

I don't see how you put the Jazz so far down when they had the longest success, also being a good team in the 80s, and faced the Bulls twice.

That Blazers team had been through too many wars by the time they got to the Bulls in the Finals, repeatedly losing to the 80's Lakers, losing to the Pistons, losing to a depleted Magic led Lakers team they had no business losing to, before facing the Bulls.

They are no way the top team the Bulls faced in the Finals. That was their last gasp.

that Bulls team was :flabbynsick: lets be real bruh

they wouldn't have even made it out the 1st round without MJ coming back

and they still pushed the series to 6 games

we all saw what happened next season :francis:

The Knicks, perennial bytches of the Bulls, pushed them to the brink, but the 90s Bulls couldn't beat them?

OK :heh:

The Bulls almost beat that Knicks team without MJ, they would have shyt on anyone they saw that season WITH him.
The Knicks took the Bulls to 7 in '92 with virtually the same squad

sorry, whats your point?
Point is, familiarity and the frequency teams play each other plays a role in how tough a matchup is.

You continuously citing how the Bulls beat a Western team in a finals doesn't equal having to face that same team more than twice a year in the regular season and then in the playoffs year after year.

that doesn't really discredit the fact that the Bulls won 4 titles beating teams that bounced the Rockets from the playoffs

I think both points can stand alone

The Blazer team was the dumbest team in the NBA at that time.. Everyone knew that.. Why would you put them #1

:what:

The Suns were stacked..

The list should be

1. Jazz
2.Suns
3.Sonics
4.Lakers.
5. Blazers

I think it discredits the fact that it would be the same result for the Bulls if they faced those teams with the same frequency the Rockets played them. You can't tell me familiarity doesn't change things. Villinova beating Georgetown in the 85 Finals proves everything about how frequent you play a team makes a difference. The Jets lost toe the Pats by a combined point total of 3 points last season. Thats ALL due to familiarity.

It counts.
