Everybody keeps saying bulls had no one to match up with hakeem.Who would of stopped Jordan? I asked in the other thread and nobody could answer

Vernon maxwell and his revisionist bullshyt wasn't stopping mike,mario elie? kenny smith? Who was stopping the best playoff scorer ever in his prime?

@Brozay shut this shyt down. Rockets wouldn't have beat the Bulls in the Finals in either 94 or 95, prime Jordan & Pippen would've been too much in the Finals, even over a prime Hakeem. What I think happens is that the Bulls probably don't win in 97 & 98 just from playoff fatigue and lose the 97 Finals to Utah and lose the ECF to Indy in 98. It's tough to win a championship, let alone for almost an entire decade

I think it discredits the fact that it would be the same result for the Bulls if they faced those teams with the same frequency the Rockets played them. You can't tell me familiarity doesn't change things. Villinova beating Georgetown in the 85 Finals proves everything about how frequent you play a team makes a difference. The Jets lost toe the Pats by a combined point total of 3 points last season. Thats ALL due to familiarity.

It counts.

the way I see it is that the Bulls in '94, WITH MJ would have won the title, no question

I really don't see anyone beating them that season if Mike didn't walk away from the game

Pippen hit his peak, and Mike was on a different level in the '93 playoffs

Bulls won 55 games that season, and Mike was a 20 win/share level player. They would have won 65-70 games that season with him

Bulls win the title in '94, Horace doesn't leave the team that offseason and the dynasty continues

2nd/3rd leading scorers on that '94 Rockets team were Otis Thrope & Maxwell
