I honestly thought Aries had already been wrestling for NXT since November.
This is 2001 all over again, with H playing the role of Vince squandering all the talent.

Who said anything about being fair? I didn't make that statement. After the debacle that was the Invasion, the resurrection and subsequent execution of the ECW revival, I'm not convinced all these acquisitions will lead to anything. Their track record the last decade speaks to that. Nobody forced these dudes to sign and they're doing what's best for them. I'm simply stating the obvious.
When deavors season comes I guarantee if other organizations pick up the talent that gets cut, we'll have quite a few posters claiming they're just picking up WWE rejects.
You said they didn't want any other company to eat... on the real tho', another company wouldn't want them to eat either. It's just the nature of the biz. If shyt was still the way it used to be and TNA was up there with WWE, they'd have been snatchin' top WWE stars up the minute they could and vice versa. They'd be goin' back and forth like it was 1995 and Vince would be talkin' about "boo hoo, they stole our stars" again
I think the 'reject' thing comes from back when TNA was just signin' ANYBODY that got released, washed or not washed. They became more selective over the years, but there was a time around '05-'06 they probably woulda signed Greg Helms and threw him in the main event if he got let go.
