You saying all that to say what exactly?

Meek lost that beef.

I'm saying if what Gibbs is saying is true then the diss record would've never gotten any coverage to begin with. It did, a year later. Both on this board, and from hip-hop media.

Whether or not you think he won or lost is irrelevant.

why does Pusha HAVE to respond within a set amount of time? when has that ever been a rule? this just seems like some arbitrary rule designed just to shyt on drake's opponents. it shouldnt matter if it comes now or weeks from now. a response is a response.

Already answered...He doesn't HAVE to do anything but accept the consequences of his actions.

True... ultimately these dudes can do whatever they feel, they just have to live with the consequences... If Pusha is cool with how things have played out, after a decade of all that God MC talk and all that sneak dissing he's comfortable with getting ate by Aubrey and laughed at by the rap populace and by OGs and his peers...then by all means he can take his sweet lil time and respond with a cutesy subliminal a year and a half from now like he's been doing...just don't expect anyone to care or take it seriously...all that "Oooooh Drake don't want it with Push shyt is dead"... Half his mystique of a delusional nikka that thinks in his own head he's Hov is done for

Cause lets be honest, had Drake not responded Pusha'd be on his west coast promo right now all in interviews talking shyt, smiling and grinning... trying to be coy while they talk about Drake and Wayne for 15 minutes, acting like he's hoe'ing somebody...with all his fans going " :gladbron: Drake don't want it with Push". ...instead Drake got the entire rap game talking bout he got bodied and completed reversed the tenor of this album rollout and possibly the whole cycle...

Now if he has no problem with that, you're right he doesn't HAVE to respond within any timeframe or at all for that matter...but that's his decision

I mean lets be real though, Pusha wasnt winning a battle verses Drake and his fanbase regardless of when he dropped a track. it just dont matter, they want drake to win and they control the narrative.

Yeah this is that hoe shyt cats be doing after the fact ":to: oh Pusha T had no chance, Drake is a member of the trilateral commission and the shadowy powers that be won't let him win" .... When just 4 days ago it was ":bryan:oh my god....Pusha just made a reference to QM, Drake don't want it" ... Pusha supposed to be this God MC, prove that shyt and make an impactful diss that matters

its not hoe shyt its just facts. did you not see Wendy's and other corporations shytting on meek after back-to-back?...meek was meme'd to death. Im not sure if youre insinuating public power has no barring on beefs, but it certainly does in the social media era. Drake's fanbase (many dont even know who pusha is) already labeling Pusha a washed up, irrelevant nikka with cornrows. I dont have faith that the fans will judge Pusha's diss response objectively, and I have no idea why you do because you seem to be an objective poster for the most part.

rap fans weird to me

Drake took 6 years to respond to exodus

never even budged when Budden tore his ass up

but now all of a sudden if a nikka dont respond in a day, its a wrap? yeah, okay

He responded to HGTV freestyle not Exodus

That was a couple weeks still I agree pusha got time

Its hoe shyt cause it's hypocritical defeatist passive aggressive bullshyt... meek didn't lose cause of fukking tweets from Wendy's, he loss cause he got bodied... The corporations joined in on the jokes cause the consensus was he got bodied, not the other way around... people can make memes all day but if people don't agree with the premise they have no power...

Lol it was all good just 4 days ago when the clips of Pusha diddy bopping in the club to Infared were making their rounds on the net and the biggest DJ in the biggest market in the country is running the record back giggling like a school girl....then Drake responds and poor Pusha has no chance he might as well not try and just take his ball and go home cause potential tweets from Carl's Jr won't let him win :sadcam:

shyts pathetic

im not even a pusha fan, but youre being disingenuous if you think social media wouldnt sway in drake's favor and ultimately affect public perception. and youre being willfully obtuse if you think drake's fanbase would judge a pusha t song objectively. youre giving them way too much credit. when and if pusha drops a superior diss, you'll see it firsthand

Meek ultimately lost because he was pressured to rush a wack ass diss after the fact that Drake put out two. Meek should of dissed him on wax and call him outright from that INSTEAD of being obsessed with Twitter and IG. Hence why everyone was clowning him, but the ultimate L was his wack ass response to which Funkmaster Flex was hyping up that entire week.

That all said, Meek accomplished one thing that'll stick on Drake forever which is his authenticity as a REAL emcee.
