Swap 2 and 1 and that’s my list. Unfortunately we may not get Montana for a while. It’s tied up in court, and Gibbs has said his next album is all produced by Kaytranada. Add the fact that he never drops more than one project per calendar year, and I feel like we’re looking at Montana 2027 at the earliest. :mjcry: But I hope I’m wrong.

I don't see how Montana is tied to the lawsuit:patrice:

"Never catchin' feelings, these bytches might suck a hundred dikks..."

This is why you can't take Freddie Gibbs serious as a human being :francis:

But back to the album Enslada, Empanadas, I Still Love H.E.R & A Thousand Mountains are vintage material.

Kendrick, Joey Badass, Clipse, and Gibbs have restored the feeling over the last several months :banderas:

Quality projects…emphasis on bars…throwing shots at other rappers

I’m feeling like it’s 05-06 and I’m posting on Allhiphop.com forum again about classic albums, G-Unit beefs, and Smack DVD battles

Im on the fence about putting this over the first Alfredo. This one is more cohesive and smooth but the first one although disjointed was much harder. Loving gold feet right now, I think him and JID are neck and neck on that. Ensalada is amazing, need to hear more Anderson and Al. I gotta give this more spins, think this one is a grower, it don’t hit me immediately like the first one.
It really surprises me that people think the first one was much harder. Like, besides Frank Lucas, Baby shyt, and God's Perfect, there's very little shyt I think sounds "hard." Scottie Beam, Look At Me, Babies & Fools, and Something to Rap about are all lighter sounding drumless loops. 1985 sounds shiny and vibrant. Skinny Suge sounds sad. All Glass I guess is pretty hard too.

Two albums are tied up in the lawsuit. Montana and the Mac Miller x Madlib album. Madlib's former manager is holding them hostage.

Most of the articles talk about the Mac Miller album, but Montana is definitely tied up in it as well. Madlib wants to put it out away from Sony, but Egon says it is obligated to release on Sony.

"Egon says Madlib’s new label is interfering with music projects that legally belong to the old company, including the release of a years-old recording of the late Miller that has long been rumored to be in the works. (Miller’s estate is not involved in the dispute nor accused of any wrongdoing.) He also says Madlib is refusing to complete an album for Freddie Gibbs that they are contractually obligated to deliver to Sony Music."
