They have 6 songs together on Fetti

Location Remote - Tie:manny:

The Blow- Spitta

New Thangs-Spitta

Saturday Night Special -Gibbs (it helps that the nikka had 70 bars on the shyt:mjlol:)

Tapatio-Gibbs(again with the nikka having 90 bars tho:pachaha:)

Bundy and Sincere- Tie:manny:

I don't compare the two solo records but I don't blame nikkas that prefer Willie Lloyd

Spitta one of my GOATS but I don't mind saying when he got got but nikkas doing the Outkast bullshyt with these two where nikkas act like Big Boi never had a better verse :camby:

New Thangs was definitely Spitta.

If that album was Gibba all the way through it would have been worse and I'm only a casual Spitta fan.

Alc really do be saving his best shyt for Freddie. This is immaculate production.
I still think Boldy gets the best of his shyt if we're talking the last 5-6 years. I actually wanna even say there's a Rolling Stone interview around Bo Jackson where Al talks about saving beats for different people and how he does it. But I could be wrong. But Gibbs definitely gets super fire too.

It is he’s not introspective at all and lacks substance it just seems like he’s rapping well and fast but really about nothing.

I don't think it's that he ain't introspective. My biggest knock on Gibbs is he don't have a lot of bars that stick with me. Like he's a good lyricist and great technical rapper, he just don't have the consistent :ohhh: bars that the all time greats do.

Comparing this to the Clipse album, Clipse had way more memorable bars off just a couple spins, way more let me rewind that moments even though they not exactly breaking new ground thematically.

But Gibbs excels at making his brand of music and got a lot of projects worth running back many years later. Nobody in his lane from his era that does it better.

Exactly I said this myself he don’t really have quotables and in terms of technical rhyming his only true skill is his multisyllabic rhyming.

He raps fast but he doesn’t say much.
