@Rhakim @Gil Scott-Heroin come and get
your medicine :mjlol:
You HAVE to be the single stupidest poster I don't have on ignore. I think I'm going to keep you around just to remember why the others stay there.

Thanks for @ing me for the 27th time when you prove me right on literally every point I made. Incredible to think how much space I take up in your head when I don't even remember you except when I get your alerts. My name in your mouth more than MPJ is.

But it’s the same lottery years picking year and year with the same crop of players that don’t pan out.

Out of all the lottery picks Phoenix has had, who has showed All-Star potential other than Booker or Orlando with Issac?

And when MPJ was drafted he was taken as a flyer by the only team that could afford to sit a lottery pick. It's not like he still had the same draft stock coming into college and going into the draft. He tried to play, couldn't get off the ground and looked hampered after the surgery. Then had spasms throughout the summer, far from a surefire pick let alone even playing again.

It's better to just enjoy it than doing hypotheticals about other teams when no other team had the luxury of keeping the kid on the shelf until he could play. Phoenix drafts him and maybe doesn't rebuild him as well as Denver did, now what?

Phoenix is a rebuilding team so they could afford to be patient with him as other teams that are in the lottery.

If NO and all other teams who took Zion would redshirt him for a year (they would draft him regardless), then there’s no reason why they can’t do it with other lower level players and prospects.

Again it's not the same, it isn't reasonable to say x will happen regardless of the outcome. If you were the GM of the Suns or any other team in the lottery not Denver, you aren't taking MPJ either. If it fails you drafted the guy you knew had a bad back, you're not getting another job. Big difference when the decision doesn't affect your future financial stability vs when it does.

As for Zion, if he had torn his meniscus at Duke he'd still go #1 because the procedure whether repair or removal is minimal. You can play without meniscus in your knees lol, you aren't the same when your back fails you. From Tiger, to prime Dwight, to even MPJ. He looks stiff moving around and it's because of his back.

There were more than just knee concerns about Zion coming into the draft.

You can play without your meniscus, but there’s no guarantee that you’ll be the same player (Dwayne Wade and others) or have a prolonged career.

I wanted wizards to get him. Dude went one spot before our pick and I was :unimpressed:

I'm annoyed. I'm a wizards fan but nuggets got a ton of Players I liked pre draft or stanned. Their GM was in the wizards FO and was a GM candidate for us this off-season..Jokic, Murray, Michael porter Jr, bol bol. I am a fan of Jerami Grant as well as a versatile defender. I want to see how Michael porter anr Bol Bol pan out cause I was mad we didn't add them..

I don’t know why another team didn’t trade up to get him even if it meant redshirting him a year. A lot of players in the draft don’t pan out anyways, so why not gamble on one with a high upside? He was the #1 prospect in his class for a reason.

That's what I felt as well. Same feeling about Bol Bol as a second rounder. I mean we got admiral Schofield instead. I was like who?

There were no founded concerns about Zion before the draft, just what people thought he was supposed to be and look like. If he doesn't tear his meniscus preseason there isn't anything to talk about and youtube health gurus don't get nearly as clicks on their videos. The only scare was when he busted out of his shoe, he stayed on the team and that was that.

The back is infinitely more important than knees lol. Feels like we're going in circles so let's agree to disagree.
