According to their trainer Zach and Wiggins are putting a lot of work in. Deng wouldn't be a bad pickup but you wonder what that means for someone like Bazz. Ryan Anderson could be a good fit.
Ryan Anderson will cost at least $80 mil
And doesn't play defense. Not sure how Thibs would use him

Bazz must stay for if nothing else, if Thibs is really so good at sprinkling pixie dust on people and making them look decent on D, he can do that for Bazz.

As bad as of a season as he had, he shot 38% from 3.

It's not really gonna happen now but he needs to be used as a facilitator. He's naturally a PG.
His versatility is something we should be using (Im not saying run the offense through him) but he should get some decent burn.

@Brozay was Thibs there when yall drafted Mitoric (sp?) ? Maybe Nemanja can play that type of role?

I think Bazz is definitely going to stay on the team. I forgot that you can play Deng as a small ball 4.

I wish Bazz could be a small ball four for us :mjcry: the four is a major whole brehs..I dont know how we will fill it

I think a combo of Dieng, Bjelicia and someone through Free Agency should be able to hold it down. If Towns improves like he should, the 4 doesnt have to be so important. Hopefully the team is playing well so come the deadline guys like Dieng, Bazz and Rubio have some value so if you need to make a move for a 4 during the season, we should have some assets to get it. Thibs changed a lot of our minds but I still think the team is a year or 2 away of roster building from being a real contender.

I dont know man, I think its VERY important that we take that leap into the playoffs next year. We have to shake that "loser franchise" vibe we have, especially with a young team.

so Noah likely off the board

according to Doogie, so is Dudley

we're kinda looking at Jason Smith and Anthony Tolliver

Granted, it's not a great FA class, but man it proves 2 things:

1. it doesn't matter what kind of talent this team has. No one of significance is coming here.

2. if this team manages to do well in spite of it, there's really going to be no point in adding free agents anyway.

(Seriously) Literally every player currently on this roster is here via the draft or draft day trade with the exception of Payne who we traded for during the season (technically KG too but we drafted him 21 years ago)

Here's what they need to do once and for all: if they find a shooter, ANYWHERE, not just this woe begotten Summer League team, but any other summer league team, sign him.

Other than that, there's really no point in spending. Just take the salary floor hit.
