Considerably shorter?
MK9 was obviously lengthy because it had to cover a timeline that spanned 3 games, but I'd figure cause this story's supposed to be up to 25 years it'd have some type of length
pretty damn short in comparison.

yes, glad developers are starting to add it into games now. for beginners, make note of the start up frames - the lower the better in most cases (deceptively slow moves are sometimes good too), its basically the speed of the attack - and block advantage - the higher the better, in all cases, which can give you a chance to attack again first if its a positive number (safe), block if 0 or at around -7 for example (pretty safe since not all characters have a move faster than 7 frames, especially if the move they blocked pushed them back a bit), or if its negative by a lot just get ready to eat somethin in return.I always wanted to ask but should I be paying attention to frame data and things like that? Fighting games always have a whole other language to me. And whats the purpose of the meter burn throws?
