people ask me all the time how does it effect me, I have PTSD real bad, horrible anxiety all the violence, self mutilation, e.t.c I been around I hate going out in public around crowds and its hard to trust people. you're around people that wanna manipulate you all day long, inmates and officers

This is what made me withdraw my application. I heard the ptsd is on the same lever as soldiers in afghanistan and the suicide rates were the highest out of all law enforcement.

The story that really spooked me was my friends cousin was in rikers with a few rooks he knew from the academy. a CO was moving weed n shyt in there and this kid decides to be an upright citizen and hit the anonymous hotline about it. I guess the sgt and a few were running a ring in there cause they quickly knew who snitched so while dude was on duty they had the inmates stage a fight and when he tried to break it up and hit the panic button nobody responded til like 2-3 minutes later.

In that situation all it takes is a minute to get wrecked. Dude was taken out in a stretcher and said how the crowd cleared when they finally came and the looks the guards gave him said it all. When my friends cuz finally got the real scoop used up all his days then quit

:ohhh:

there's no "anonymous" line, once you tell people know, you gotta pick your battles and stay outta the way of dirty ones, just build a case until right time.happened to me at my last facility, I was fighting everyday until one day I snapped and broke an inmate's arm and threatened to look up his next of kin and make a house call. prison is adult highschool basically

Prisoner transport officer arrested in alleged rape

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — A 50-year-old jail transport officer was arrested Sunday for allegedly raping a female inmate he was transporting from Kentucky to the Metropolitan Detention Center in Bernalillo County.

Nashville, Tenn., resident James Baldinger was arrested in Gallup Sunday, and charged with rape and criminal sexual contact. He’s facing charges in Guadalupe County, where the rape allegedly happened.

Baldinger works for a national corporation called Prisoner Transport Services of America, which contracts with local jails and shuttles inmates around the country, according to New Mexico State Police spokeswoman Lt. Elizabeth Armijo
According to the Guadalupe County Communicator, the victim told authorities that Baldinger first started touching her in Colorado. He then digitally penetrated her somewhere near Santa Rosa, she alleges. She reported the abuse once she arrived in Albuquerque.
company I used to work for
Court documents obtained by the Communicator say that the victim was being held in a compartment behind Baldinger and another officer, who were driving the transport vehicle.

Male inmates were housed in a compartment behind the woman and she was able to write a note to one of the male inmates that said she was being abused on the trip. Investigators later tracked down that inmate and he corroborated the woman’s story, according to the Communicator.

July 2012, Steven Galack, the former owner of a home remodeling business, was living in Florida when he was arrested on an out-of-state warrant for failing to pay child support. Mr. Galack, 46, had come to the end of a long downward spiral, overcoming a painkiller addiction only to struggle with crippling anxiety. Now, he was to be driven more than a thousand miles to Butler County, Ohio, where his ex-wife and three children lived, to face a judge.

Like dozens of states and countless localities, Butler County outsources the long-distance transport of suspects and fugitives. Mr. Galack was loaded into a van run by Prisoner Transportation Services of America, the nation’s largest for-profit extradition company.

Crammed around him were 10 other people, both men and women, all handcuffed and shackled at the waist and ankles. They sat tightly packed on seats inside a cage, with no way to lie down to sleep. The air conditioning faltered amid 90-degree heat. Mr. Galack soon grew delusional, keeping everyone awake with a barrage of chatter and odd behavior. On the third day, the van stopped in Georgia, and one of two guards onboard gave a directive to the prisoners. “Only body shots,” one prisoner said she heard the guard say. The others began to stomp on Mr. Galack, two prisoners said.

The guards said later in depositions that they had first noticed Mr. Galack’s slumped, bloodied body more than 70 miles later, in Tennessee. A homicide investigation lasted less than a day, and the van continued on its journey. The cause of death was later found to be undetermined.

“This is someone’s brother, father, and it’s like nobody even cared,” said Mr. Galack’s ex-wife, Kristin Galack

A Trousdale Turner Correctional Center corrections officers was arrested last week after allegedly being highly intoxicated and firing a handgun inside the home he shares with his son, his son’s pregnant girlfriend and his grandchildren.

According to Macon County Sheriff Mark Gammons, he and other officers were dispatched to a residence on New Harmony Road around 7:30 p.m. on February 1, 2019, after reports of a shot fired inside of the home.

The caller stated that 43-year-old Brian Orrs had fired the shot in his bedroom with his family inside the home.

Orrs’ son, his three grandchildren and his son’s pregnant girlfriend - who was just days away from her due date - were located on the other side of the wall when Orrs was said to have fired the weapon.

Once officers arrived on the scene, they learned that Orrs’ son was able to get his family out of the home and forced the two guns in Orrs’ possession away from him. The family escaped to by car to another residence in Trousdale County.

Sheriff Gammons stated that Orrs would not come to the door after officers knocked and identified themselves.

When he did, he told authorities to leave and said he did nothing wrong.

While attempting to get Orrs to come out of the home, officers interviewed witnesses and learned he was highly intoxicated. One witness mentioned he had a white, powdery substance on his nose.

After nearly two hours, Orrs allegedly came outside in an aggressive manner with his pants down, shaking his private parts at officers.

Refusing to cooperate and resisting arrest, Mr. Orrs was tased by police to prevent him from doing further harm, and was then apprehended.

A search of the home and further investigation by deputies revealed that Orrs was in possession of a 12 gauge shotgun and a .40 caliber pistol. The pistol was the weapon used to shoot into the floor of Orrs’ bedroom.

A razor blade with a small amount of white residue on it, marijuana paraphernalia, ammunition for the guns, two sets of scales and a container used to store marijuana were seized by authorities.

A the time of the incident, Orrs was a corrections officer employed by CoreCivic at Trousdale Turner Correctional Center.

Orrs was charged with six counts of aggravated assault, six counts of reckless endangerment, possession of a weapon while under the influence, indecent exposure, possession of drug paraphernalia, and resisting arrest.
