Which is why the government should have stepped in long ago and prevented Amazon from becoming a problem beforehand. The thing is, why would they went the people in charge of this country (like Pelosi) are benefitting from their stock.

On another note, a lot of these companies are going to be fukked once the COVID-19 pandemic subsides. It was kind of a blessing in disguise for them in a way as selling masks helped cover their financial losses and keep them alive. Places like Gap made a lot of money selling masks which you could create from leftover clothing, so what are they going to do when they aren't in as high of demand?
I agree that the government should have stepped in a long time ago. But the government doesn't care so here we are:yeshrug:

That's why I always say that the people in charge of solving the problems are the ones who helped create or allowed the problems to fester in the first place.

I hate that these big box stores are going out of business, because at the end of the day it's just more and more people losing their jobs. I also am not a huge fan of online shopping in general, and that's because I still like being able to go out and have the actual product in my hand without the worries of a broken/stolen/misplaced item. If half the country becomes unemployed we're going to end up becoming a 4hr/4 days a week working society.
All the youth will be Amazon delivery drivers in the future. :francis:

I remember when they started giving us cashier's commission on how much money we rang up on our registers. Don't expect to get help if you got in line with a magazine :russ:. No one would raise their paddles. But let the next customer have a laptop everyone raising up their paddles. People used to be mad as fukk :lolbron:. Trying to poach people coming from the computer department. shyt used to be comedy

me and my friends use to get high as fukk in the parking lot then go inside like it was Disneyland.

fukkin with all the latest electronics, video games, porn dvd section, TVs, computers, holla at them hoes wearing the tight business suits they made employees wear, magazines and when we would get the munchies, hit the cafe they had in the middle of the store.

Good times. Too bad this new generation will never experience that. Instead, they’re buying electronics on their phones while taking a shyt.

Why should the government be involved? Stores like fryes closed down your mom and pop computer shops and only failed because those at the top always makes shytty choices

Because Amazon is a major threat over the likes of Walmart, who people thought at one point was a major threat to multiple industries. If Amazon completely takes over, then that's going to destory entire industries and businesses. Not just mom and pop shops.
