People who study human psychology/sociology say there's no such thing as the "alpha male" anyway. We all belong to lots of groups and so how we act is context-specific. Someone who is alpha in the pen might be beta when he gets out and goes into the workplace, someone who is beta in the lunchroom might be an alpha online. Even in the exact same game it can depend on context - you could be assertive as fukk in the pick-up games in one hood and then defer to others in your official school games. When I was in the detention center only the white boys were calling themselves alphas and betas. We wasnt saying thay shyt its weird.
Alpha males don't actually exist
Do alpha males even exist? | Dean Burnett
Ironically, the term "alpha male" was originally invented for wolves and primates....and the researcher who came up with it in the wolves context eventually discovered that there was no such thing in wolf packs either, the alpha males just happened to be the father of the other wolves in the pack and if they lived long enough they eventually became the alpha as well:
There's no such thing as an alpha male
