in Carribean society y'all go by nationality and not on some "we all black" shyt. :stopitslime:

I agree with you, in that Nationality and having a country that is predominately black is a blessing, and to be proud of. Most West Indian immigrants and African immigrants are proud of their homeland. So yes American Descendants of Slaves do in fact need to be represented, as this is the country your ancestors were sent to and you should be proud to be a part of it. So I understand the right of ADOS to get reparations, and to be part in the political process, and to hold positions of power in USA.

BUT, what I meant by "divide and conquer", is certain segment of ADOS seems to discredit black people who are for the SAME cause, because they (or their parents) were not born within the US mainland. That is very divisive and if done in the past would leave many Black Heroes to be called Jamaic00ns, and whatever else I have seen floating around the Coli lately. I don't post here often anymore - but it sure has changed from what I recall.

Sidney Poitier - parent or parents from Bahamas
Malcolm X - Grenada
Marcus Garvey - Jamaica
Louis Farrakhan - St. Kitts
etc etc...

Also I would hope most African-Americans would look into getting their Moorish Nationality documents or tracing their lineage within the Native American Indian tribes. We are all descendants with African blood, and some of us are mixed with the Native Americans, or natives of the corresponding island their ancestors were sent to, Taino, Arawak, Carib etc etc.

black people who are for the SAME cause,

That needs to be defined. Very clearly. Because that's where the issues be happening.

Now this thread doesn't anything to do with that. It's just people bytching to be honest. If Biden reneges on his promise to put a Afram woman on the Supreme Court, then all ADOS here should be enraged. I'll be watching safely from my computer.

One thing about Dems, they're consistent. Their platform has been primarily about immigrants and LGBT for the past few years and they're walking what they talk :manny:
