Classic albums are full of those type of records

At least five of those kinds of records.

GKMC has maybe one... and that would be the bytch Dont Kill My Vibe remix but it isn't even really on the album

I can't get into it. I hate skits with a passion and a lot of the songs didn't start till a 2 min skit. I don't really like his voice on a lot of the songs either, kinda boring
It's a good album and I like a lot of his songs... but I just can't put it up there with illmatic r2d dog style etc as far as classics go

What album were you listening to? The only song that starts off with a skit is Sherane, the intro, and that's because it's the intro. None of the skits are even close to being 2 minutes.

Seriously brehs...If GKMC is not a classic album nothing this generation can be considered a classic. It is hands down better that any thing that has been released in the past couple of years. Full of hits. You barely skip any songs on the album. Compare that to the bullshyt Kanye just dropped, or the ego album J just dropped, or even the next Drake R&B album. Whether we like it or not K.Dot dropped an actual RAP album that is a classic. Enjoy the music brehs. We know we are going to be hit with mulitple Trinidad James and Drake emo rap for the next couple of years, so be happy for K.Dot album.

The album provides thought provoking content, great cohesion, great production, great lyricism, was critically acclaimed across the board, and the shyt went platinum in age where nobody (HipHop wise) is getting that plaque.

Man, that shyt is a classic and we'll be listening to that album 10 years from now.

The majority of people have a hard time, or are completely incapable of, looking beyond themselves. The majority of people are completely blind to the biases they apply to their everyday life. The cats who sit around and say GKMC is in no way shape or form a classic will list the same albums from the same time period as classics. Cats are so biased and nostalgia driven yet completely oblivious to it. The culture dictates what is classic, time dictates what is classic, not a singular opinion that happens to get cosigns on a message board. If GKMC is destined to be deemed classic, it will be and nikkas can either deal with it or just press play on some Das EFX on their Sony Walkmans and keep it moving.

of course some nikkas don't wantto accept it as a classic because they feel insecure about their favorite artists..haters can cry if they want, it won't change the fact that the album is widely accepted as a classic by the hip hop industry for legitimate reasons.

Then again, I don't call it a game changer like illmatic or the chronic, it's a bottom line classic in my book but still a classic.

People need to realize that there is a difference between what they think is good and what they enjoy, I fukking hate The Slim Shady LP but the album is still a classic.
