I don't think miles will stick, miles is artificial to me, same with the Sam jackson nick fury, these are pandering flash in the pans.
Miles morales can't sell comics and neever sold as much as the Ben, the spider man clone, that to this day they never brought back and never gave an adequate send off to.

Miles has one of the most popular, as well as critically acclaimed animated movie series by a comic book character. That will give him some latitude and potential staying power

Yep it was created by two white guys jumping on the blaxploitation wave, just like most black heroes like Luke Cage, Jon Stewart, and the like.

What you see popularized about Black Panther today was created by the two FBAs, the world by Priest and the action impact by Reggie Hudlin. They are the ones who truly integrated and set Black Panther apart and Wakanda as apart in the Marvel universe. They made the character popular enough where it would even be sensible to bring them into a movie.

Yes, Hudlin and Priest made him more African and inclusive to Africa, but his initial origin was BLACK AMERICAN. He went to MIT and graduated for fukks sake. Which is a homage to the 1st Black MIT graduate Robert Robinson Taylor.

lol Black Panther was created by Jack Kirby and Stan Lee, two white guys. Knowing Stan Lee probably just Kirby created him and Lee stole credit.

No he wasn't the first black superhero.
You would have a better case of arguing Lothar, the sidekick for Mandrake the Magician was the first black super hero. Both african inspired though, not black as in black american.

Priest made the whole Wakandan lore that most of you love today but he didn't make Wakanda, Kirby and Lee from the beginning made him from a fictional african country Wakanda. So you are just wrong.
