Hoyer is way better than Manziel. And a few bad games is not worth benching him for Johnny I Didn't Sign That Football.

hoyer was never that good though
even his stats this year 55% accuracy 11tds and 10 ints qb rating of 82

folks acting like he was putting up these great numbers, dude is a backup at that might as well see what manziel can do
Basically. I watched him against the falcons last week and he threw some of the wort interceptions I've ever seen.

This move isn't because Manziel deserves it or not. It also doesn't have to do with Hoyer.

The fact is Manziel is not that good, and with his already numerous off field situations, the team is internally deciding if this guy is worth the headache going forward. They've been tremendously disappointed by Manziel so far. They're giving him a chance to shock them, but don't count on that happening.

Anything less than this guy showing something he's failed to do up to this point, Browns will move him in the off-season and get a real QB in the draft who fits What the coaches really want ala Conner Cook.

That move had everything to do with Hoyer. Hoyer has been shyt the last 4 games. Hes at 150 throws with 0 TDs. Thats bad. The offense without the run game is shyt when Hoyer is in there and its been more obvious as the weeks go by. It's easy to ignore because we were winning on good defense, a good run game, and opposing coaching ineptitude.

Also, his interceptions have been baaaad. Like, visibly dumbass throws he should have never made.

I was okay with Johnny sitting on the bench and learning the playbook this season as long as they were winning behind Hoyer. But after the last few weeks the offense was looking stale. Too many FGs in the redzones. Too many INTs instead of TDs. The defense is still playing pretty good. You got Gordon back giving Manziel a go to guy. I'm all for giving him a shot at this point. if he comes out to practice and looks soild put him in coach

Eli Manning has had a series of games like Hoyer, and like Hoyer, even when he struggles, he wins games including the ones that matter.

Get outta here with the bullsh*t. Your arguments are as see thru as the entire Browns organization. Bad teams are continually bad because they lack patience, vision, and discipline. Its fitting this front office is playing Manziel. They deserve each other.

People like you are annoying to me. You have no idea how to support your own team. Wins is all that matter in this league. Manziel can go out and duplicate Hoyers stats and winning% and you would be sitting up here and saying the same things I'm saying now.
