Eli Manning has had a series of games like Hoyer, and like Hoyer, even when he struggles, he wins games including the ones that matter.

Get outta here with the bullsh*t. Your arguments are as see thru as the entire Browns organization. Bad teams are continually bad because they lack patience, vision, and discipline. Its fitting this front office is playing Manziel. They deserve each other.

People like you are annoying to me. You have no idea how to support your own team. Wins is all that matter in this league. Manziel can go out and duplicate Hoyers stats and winning% and you would be sitting up here and saying the same things I'm saying now.

:dahell: dumbass eli manning has won superbowls. Hoyer is a backup QB that has been on multiple teams. He is what he is. Johnny would not have been put in the game if Hoyer wasnt giving them away. Pettine needed to stop the bleeding

Hoyer did not win that Falcons game. He did everything in his power to lose that football game and he connects on 3 passes at the end of the game and suddenly he won the game? How'd that "all he does is win" work out for Tebow?

Hoyer has struggled against some of the absolute worst teams in the league and if we had anyone elses schedule outside of the AFCN we would have nowhere near a winning record. He's had two games all season where he's thrown more than one touchdown. Those teams, the current 2nd and 3rd picks in the draft(Tampa & Tenn). His selling point used to be that he takes care of the ball, makes smart plays and won't lose you games. That's over now, he has been putting this team in a position to lose. 5 td's & 9 int's over the last 8 games with a QBR of 76.6 :scust:

That's what you're :cape: for? :dwillhuh:

It must have killed you to see Manziel go in and immediately lead the team on a 80 yard drive for a td :banderas:

hes been weeden-eske the last 3 games. He is digging holes that give the team no chance to win. The last good game he had was against the Bengals, and the games before that he looked pretty bad.

Hes been :trash:

exactly where had the browns gone before hoyer?...no where....he's helped them win more games and be competitive this year than they have in years...

what has johnny shown that makes yall think he's this franchise saving qb?....and all that shyt yall talking about hoyer, the same can be said for johnny, the difference: hoyer has won games in this league.....but i know, johnny's flashier and the media likes him more, so you start him....i just cant wait to hear the excuses when the browns lose the next couple games with him starting.....

How is a guy who has had ONE touchdown in his last 4 games supposed to keep up with Andrew Luck and the Colts next week?

This is why I said from the start that Hoyer starting was a waste....its obvious to anyone with a brain that Hoyer's ceiling is journeyman QB at best in this league. I dunno why these average ass cac QB's get hyped up as anything more than that over and over.....and over. Unless you're Trent Dilfer with Baltimore's D the best move is to cut the cord with a QB like that as soon as possible. Unless you enjoy being mired in mediocrity :yeshrug:. Even if Manziel isnt the answer for the franchise we know 100% that Hoyer aint

Idk but Manziel came in against one of the leagues best defenses and immediately drove the team down the field for a td.

Hoyer couldn't keep up with Kyle Orton, the hells he supposed to do with Andrew Luck on the other sideline?

that qtr he was in was not a true judge of how he'd do....the game was outta reach and the def wasnt playing like it was the first 3 qtrs....

i'm just saying: hoyer has the team 7-5...they have a legit shot at a winning record and the playoffs...both of which the browns havent experienced in awhile....even if they dont achieve either of those, they still have played better than most expected.....i'm not saying hoyer is the future, but as for this year, they should just back him (since he's played well enough to get them to this point) for the rest of the year and ride it out...then next year, have the open comp or just flat out start johnny....but to have your starting qb playing on eggshells cause the team wont fully back him cause of the media darling backup rookie, is doing nothing but hurting them...hell, hoyer has won despite that, not having gordon, nor tate most of the year.....
