So after watching both docs, one thing I’m still wondering. Was Billy scamming the ENTIRE time or was there a point where he legitimately thought the festival was gonna work? Like the part where he’s crying and having a breakdown made me think that a part of him thought they could pull the festival off but at the same time he could be that much of a sociopath where even those tears were part of the con

Had such a mental breakdown that the minute he got out he started emailing those same attendees thru a different name

He had there money he didnt give a fukk if the festival went off or not....anyone believing otherwise is getting conned too.

She and the locals are literally the only sympathetic characters in all of that shyt.

He aint no dummy he knew he couldnt pull that off in 2 months with,there was no planning until the end lol....he wasnt even trying to pull it off.

But there was still a team of people behind him who seemed like they were trying to make the festival work.

And IF they magically did it, Billy would have no doubt done these shyts yearly until it blew up.
