nah barkley is usually spot-on when it comes to basketball.

i just dont like how he brushes off the non-marquee teams. but when hes attentive, hes one of the best.
No he not, he just entertaining like when he went on his rant about Houston and said they are of the worst defensive teams in the league. But Amir on the NBA lockdown podcast debunk that by saying they actually ranked 12 in defense. He was just using that old misconception of James Harden and poor defense without looking at his improvements. Same with ATL Hawks he been saying their record not real and they will eventually fall around to the 6-8 seed in the east. Fast forward they are still the top team in the east. But I watch different then most I'm not impressed with hero ball. That And-1 streetball Dibbling shyt don't do it for me not even dunks do it for me. I like teams who play good defense and box-out every possession. I like players who stay in front of their man and when they beat his teammate understand help defense and cover for him while the guy who got beat switches to the other man. You give me a team who passes up good shots for great ones and understanding ball movement while giving everybody touches. I watch that anyday over ISO-Melo or Kobe. Charles Barkley don't give basketball specs and facts while remaining objective. Its clear when he talk about players like Cousins and Wade who he don't like that he just can't be objective and professional. He just there for entertainment nothing more.

am i the only that is confused why charles got absolutely no criticism by media members for those comments? been thinking about this since the night he said it

now is see articles about charles on ESPN praising him
Yes you are the only one that is confused.

We understand that white people appreciate a good c00n in the media who will shyt on his own people to make them feel comfortable with the mistreatment of black people.

"The only problem I had with Kenny’s, umm, open letter was, umm, I don’t think anytime something bad happens in the black community we have to talk about slavery. Listen, slavery is, uh, well, I shouldn’t say one of the worst things ever, because I don’t know anything about it other than what I read or what my grandmother told me.”-- Charles Barkley

Brehs, his quote on slavery really isn't that horribly c00ntastic. I mean, it's was poorly articulated, and I guess taking into consideration his history of questionable commentary on racial and political subjects, an argument can be made that this was yet another comment exposing Barkley for what he is.

Still, I agree with the bolded portion of his comment, if even though my reasons are different from his. I've read too many articles, and heard far too many people bring up slavery when a controversial situation hits the media. On one hand, talking about slavery does provide a historical narrative that's necessary at times during race related discussions. However, it also allows people to remove themselves of any responsibility, or causes them to downplay the seriousness of events happening in our time because in their mind slavery and insert subject here, are unrelated. As a result you see and hear plenty of white people say things like, "I wasn't even alive when slavery was going on!" In other words, they're ok with excusing themselves from any discourse on a subject that's affecting Black people adversely. Fair enough, but I've noticed when you adjust the conversation and bring up systemic racism as has been practiced in the past 100 years, such as white flight, segregation, discrimatory practices as related to employment and housing, etc., it changes the conversation because you're now talking about them and their parents, and people they know and associate with. I enjoy making them uncomfortable by bringing up those subjects too.

nobody is gonna be on point 100% of the time. show me an analyst and we can all list even more examples of them having to eat their words.

he may not like cousin or wade, but he never underrates them or anything. he was the 1st one saying boogie got snubbed.

That's easy my two favorites are Zach Lowe from grantland and Woj from yahoo. But its plenty out there who give basketball analysis, while being objective and actually have reasons to back their opinion.

I think Charles Barkley and people who preach this whole blacks need to do better and stop crying about racism and slavery need to understand no matter how submissive you are, how well you articulate the english language. Their will always be people who hate us because we're black.

If a black celebrity speaks against Barkley's comments then the faucet stops running. So I wouldn't be surprised if Gabrielle Union gets blacklisted and have her BET show cancelled.

Wow at that video. It's kind of hilarious, cuz it comes out of nowhere, like I knew the fukkery was coming, but exactly when was the question. I thought he was a Mexican at first, cuz he stated that because he's from Texas that he wanted to support him if I heard that right. Mexicans and Blacks ain't exactly the best of friends in certain areas. Then he came out and said he's Polynesian. The best is how he took a deep breath like he just had to say something. That was crazy.

BTW breh, where is that from? What show is that?

Nothing....I agree with her completely. Just an observation on how hard it is to show your true side when you're on top. I'm sure she always had this side of her but we never saw it until recently
Was Barkley talking like this when she was on top? He wasn't even on TV then.

I be on youtube watching alot of pro-black podcasts and debates. One of the debates I was watching was Top c00n in the game Larry Elder debating with fellow pro-black. You know how they have similar videos to ones you currently watching it had 9 mil views so I watched after the debate. I was shocked too being from New York growing with latinos using the n-word being comfortable with that because we known each other our whole lives. Now fast forward to now with me living in NC for 5 years noticing Brown and Black don't mix in the south they associate with whites better was culture shocking to me. But you find the video on YouTube under "Most racist moment"
