I was a big Yankees fan when I was younger. Watched as many games as possible, knew all the stats, etc..

Today is Friday and this is the first time I'm hearing about game 1 of the World Series (Tuesday).

Baseball is dead to me.

I played baseball for 12 years and the 90s to the mid 2000s, imo, was the golden era of the sport. Ken Griffey Jr., Bonds, Frank Thomas, Clemens, Manny Ramirez, the list goes on. Now that Jeter is gone the sport is starless. I'm not talking guys that might be popular, I'm saying there's not a single player that's going to sell out a stadium.

Baseball deserves this for it's continued arrogance in not being progressive with it's rules, pace, and fan base.

No sympathy:manny:

Do you know anyone that watches baseball or goes to the games?

Probably not

Do you know anyone that owns a MLB fitted or snap back?

Probably so

I talked to Chris Dimino who works for the Braves about this before...MLB has been caking off of urban culture without us actually supporting the on field product for years now..

Crips and Bloods wearing Royals, Rockies or Cardinals gear unwittingly helped feed the machine..
People still buy official MLB merchandise??

Everyone I've seen with fitted NY or LA or whatever caps buy them from a 3rd party dealer who gets them from a 3rd party manufacturer who has no affiliation with MLB.
