We have so many more entertaining options now a days. Baseball's old timey slow paced action just can't compete.

only sports i can watch from beginnign to end is nfl, college football and the nba

beisbul is boring, the only reason that boring sports gets the big tv deals is because thats 162 games of 3 hours plus of live content for any network that's it.

the number of games i watch a season has dropped to ridiculously low levels since the braves stopped being on tbs. that use to be my shyt. no matter where i was in the country, i could watch a braves game. i guess i am more of a braves fan than a baseball fan anyway.

So one of its strengths is you dont even have to pay attention to it?

Its not so much that as much as that its always there for you when you need it and doesn't demand your attention. I liken it to music. Sometimes you wanna hear something turn't up when you pre-gaming for a party or driving around, other times you wanna hear music thats more chill, or lyrics thats more conversational. Baseball is the latter to me.

My coworker said they didn't even have it on in a sports bar he went to. And they got like 20 tvs in there lol

I went to a office get together with my wife Tuesday night. It was a local tavern, all of her co-workers are middle aged white folks. There was maybe 10 tvs that went all around the tavern. The two biggest had the world series. The volume wasnt even on, and nobody was even in a position to watch it. More people were talking about the Ebola.......not at one time during the two hours i was there did baseball even come up. Its the world series and a bar full of cacs on a Tuesday night didnt give shyt.
