cheaper Gamepass is good, but it also just continues to make Xbox look sporadic and unpredictable. you buy into this service, but they might choose to remove your favorite game(s) next

I know most won't agree u actually think they should remove the bs bloat like fortnite ubiplay riot etc. It does nothing but increase the price

So they're basically doing exactly what a majority of us have been telling them to do since Day 1 when we said that having COD and a majority of their first party games on gamepass Day1 was a dumb decision.

Nothings being “removed”

If you were planning to subscribe to gamepass for COD then just don’t do it.

I see no issue here. It’s not like you are locked into a contract with gamepass.

They don’t even sell like whole year subscriptions or anything or anything like that.

This is a direct admission from them that day one AAA games on the service are a mistake. I don't doubt they'll start removing other lucrative games. It's looking more like PlayStation Plus every day.

The service is being degraded to make it sustainable. They raised the price because it cost them to continue it as promised and now they have reduced the quality so they can lower the price.

The question is why can't Call of Duty be included day one like it was? The answer is obvious it was costing them too much. If that's the answer then what's the point? Rip the bandaid off and just complete the PlayStation Plus like transformation it's been going through and pull all the new games until they've sold through.

"The plan is the plan until it isn't the plan" :dead:

So after the Activision purchase, Xbox fans lost all exclusives and now dont even gen Call of Duty day 1 on Gamepass. What a disaster of a purchase.

in hindsight this shyt lowkey ended up like the Clippers/Thunder trade for Paul George:picard:

Once you admit that such and such a series whatever it is can't be included in any tier of Game Pass day 1 you have broke the core promise of Game Pass (which was a service with all 1st party games day one on it) and set a precedent that some 1st party games can now be excluded day one.

There's nothing to say another franchise or series won't be excluded in the future. In fact given their course of action in other arenas it almost certainly will happen again. My guess is the next Elder Scrolls is almost certainty added to the exclusion list.

Just like when it was these 4 games and not a change to their core exclusive policy and now we have Forza, Halo, and Gears on PlayStation. Starfield and Indiana Jones weren't under consideration and both are now on that platform as well.

This is the beginning of the end for the Game Pass we knew on any tier. It is now a service that no longer includes all 1st party releases day 1 anymore.

Admission that putting cod in gamepass would be way too expensive to entice consumers, anything else is a reach.
