Yeah I remember trying to get my mom to get me duck tales on NES and it costs 82 dollars.
On the flipside, if that game is a glitchy mess then there's nothing you can do about either.

I lived in Blockbuster. Friday night, rent a game, rent a movie, get a pizza hut pie from across the street and all my brehs would come over to eat.

Funny thing is even with them being pretty expensive I had a huge library. I used to cop used anytime I can tho. Except for the really hyped titles like Street Fighter 2. Mortal Kombat 1 and 2. Donkey Kong Country. Link To The Past. etc etc. And yea. Blockbuster was a nikka's best friend. Lol

it's interesting because it's something they kind of lost when they moved to disc based games. with carts they could include specialized hardware to enhance the graphics, sound, AI, etc. with disc based games they had to make do with the hardware in the console
