Had I played uncharted first i probably would have liked it more

It made me realize just how bad the writing and story is in other games.



I played the tomb raider reboot after it and was The entire game because how horrible everything is handled. The story, the characters the extremely poor way they handled her "growth." bytch kills one guy, cries about it then shes a stone cold killer the rest of the game



It made other studios look lazy and childish in comparison.

Variety in gameplay is definitely not one of uncharted's strengths. The enemies are the same. The guns feel the same, the enemy encounters all feel the same, and the "platforming" is very shallow.

In gears different weapons/enemy's call for different strategies. The level design crates different strategic opportunities. There are also some driving/turret missions to push the story along.

There's a reason people are still playing Gears MP and not uncharted.

And y'all over rate uncharted story to high hell. It does absolutely nothing we haven't seen in the average summer blockbuster movie, where the handsome hero saves the world(or himself) and gets the girl.
