Basically a top-down 2d deckbuilder/rougelike/auto-battler. I seem to have finished it in that I've completed the 6 maps and killed their bosses, and there is so little information online that I don't know if there is more to the game beyond those 6 maps/bosses. Basically really enjoyed the deckbuilder stuff in which you have to find seals to break barriers that will eventually lead you to the boss area, but the game has quite a few issues; too easy, combat/weapon stuff is under-cooked and some bosses just insta-died for some reason.

On to Onimusha 2 next, then finishing off Star Wars: Outlaws.

Been juggling too many titles across too many systems. Decided to focus on one main story/big single player game and have like a racing game (Mario Kart/Forza) on the side whenever I get bored/stuck in the main game.

That way I can really focus and make a dent in my backlog.

That god damn room with Metroids before you fight the final boss :snoop:

Took me a while to realize to not fight em and just fast dash to the boss room.

Put a good 60+ hours into this, and by and large enjoyed it. As an action/stealth adventure game, it is pretty mediocre mainly due to the lack of impact of weapons but also because the cookie-cutter level design makes the stealth gameplay pretty repetitive. However, it does a few things really well - it has a great progression system built around finding "experts" and completing their questlines to open up new abilities which is far better than a level up system, it looks great and as a Star Wars fan it has a very engaging world to explore. The story and characters are also alright. Definitely a better game than people give it credit for, but yeah the gameplay aspect is a bit lacking.
