The Neyo joint is the WOAT, it derails the momentum of the whole LP. Its just as bad as the disney track Rza put on the last Wu LP.
you are insane.
it's one of the best joints on there.
not out of scope for music they've made in the past neither.

I’m a working stiff. I never found the street life alluring. I wasn’t raised in the projects.Listening to this made me realize how much of a void there is in hip hop. A regular guy spitting regular everyday thoughts from a grown man perspective. Sounds simple but its cringe worthy when I hear cats 40 years old talking about flipping keys..... Guru always kept it relatable. Preem put work in.
No doubt. Here’s a few others from that Full Clip to Ownerz era that get overlookedThe album is dope as fukk and it’s making me both want more and sad that Guru is gone and Gang Starr is finished. Hearing this breathed new life into hip hop for me. I really hope Preme can salvage whatever he has left over from the rescue of Guru’s vocals from Solar as well as wherever else he had.
Preme if you are reading this, I think you need to do a full clip 2 with the top classics, a few from the owners, Battle, the unreleased that you have, a few from One of the best yet and one or two all new ones.
For what it’s worth their final album together wasn’t bad at all. It’s one of their better post Murda Muzik releases.Pee and Hav hated each other, the re hashed Mobb shyt gon taste like corked wine when it gets released imo.
When Preem isn’t stuck in the confines of sampling on artist for the PRhyme albums he still can get busy.HOLY shyt these beats! This is the best I've heard from premo in a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG TIME. These have to be some old ass beats he saved because he don't get anywhere near as tough nowadays. Goodness.
Tryin to understand why some of the tracks on the album are clean and others not??? Was that don't on purpose???
This feels a lot more organic than most posthumous albums. Big props to Preem on that. Gonna stay in rotation heavy. Anyone know if they're dropping merchandise specifically for this album? (saw some links to regular gang starr stuff earlier in the thread)
