I'm loving the album.

Hearing Guru over Primo's beats again is a vibe that can't really be explained. The album is dope, and it sounds like they may have had actual tracks recorded that chilled in the stash for a minute. These don't really sound like joints that Preme pieced together after the fact. And I can appreciate that. Really great album from one of my favorite groups of all-time. I think it's actually a better listen than The Ownerz was.

Was waiting til midnight but fell asleep. Ended up waking up at 3 and brought it this morning with westside gunn's record off of itunes. Havent heard the whole thing but off of just skimming, it's a hard record. Exactly what we need now. I'm liking how rap is going back to it's original form the 2020s after a decade of trap bullshyt

idk...kinda lukewarm production wise. the arraignments are solid, Preem did a nice job given how they had to piece it together. but overall, im not sure how much i'll go back to it. will give it more spins this weekend

Actually enjoying the album...with what Preme was able to work with, you can tell he didn't put out a lazy effort into crafting it. He really wanted to keep the legacy alive and I respect it. The album definitely stuck with the Gang Starr sound and feel. RIP Guru...
