Go back and listen to the first album premier did with Royce . That album is slept on heavy ...:wow:

The production on this is way better than Phryme.

Just going from memory the beats on here are way more polished than Phryme 1.

phryme 2 is very underwhelming, It felt like Royce was drinking again with some juvenile wordplay.

Malachi is wack, but Dap is so underrated to me. His voice has always been ill and grimy. In a way Malachi's basic ass flow and voice set up Dap even more because he actually has skills and mic presence
Yeah, that's the general concensus. I can really only think of 1 Malachi verse that was decent at best (Living Proof).

I like Malachi on Word from the Nutcracker. he ain't no special MC but their voices were dope on the Livin Proof album. I also hope to see new pics of the Gang Starr Foundation in the liner notes.

His first verse he spit on a real record ironically it was his best

Nah fukk this album (coming from a Preemo and Guru stan.)

They weren't cool when he died.

This is old verses slapped on new beats, Guru wanted that? How we know that?

This is just a Preemo payday before he too old.

True but I don’t see it that way. My take in it is that it’s universally know that Solar was a bytch nikka. Even Guru’s own nephew was dissatisfied with the treatment of Guru. He exposed Solars lies and even more of the truth eventually came out. I do not chose to remember Guru based on the turmoil and drama that surrounded his career and death, as my last memory of him. Instead, I applaud Preme for sticking with this project over the many years to see it through. Now I have a good memory and feeling about some of his last work being presented to us the way we will receive it and admire it. There are snippets of these verses over solar beats that have been on line for years. You don’t hear anyone talking about it and praising it. It’s wack. I’m glad that Gang Starr came together one last time to bless us. Thanks Preme and RIP GURU.
