:why: You are moron if you believe what Gary is saying. Athletic players back in that time had their way on the offense no matter who was guarding them. Grant Hill, Anfernee Hardaway, Sprewell, Ray Allen, and especially Iverson didn't have a problem averaging 20+ points a season in a era that was dominated by Centers and PFs. You can't stop an athletic freak that is build as a PF and quick as pg from attacking the paint.

For niqqas thinking they're defendinG the 90s saying Jim Jackson averaged 25 because he was a "damn" good shooter really are making the 90s look even worse. :heh:

the midrange
Kevin Duckworth
Terry Cummings
X-Man
Alton Lister
Benoit Benjamin (a reach sure, but dude did floor alot of players YT it)
any Piston bigman
McNasty and McFilthy

there were actually alot more legit big man during that era than at any point of the NBA, not to stay Lebron still wouldn't steamroll over them at some point it would wear him down and his durability would have been put to the test.

:comeon:

LeBron is like twice the size of Mike. So Mike can take more punishment than LeBron now? Gary Payton's comment was ridiculous and the only purpose it served was to get his name mentioned again because we're starting to forget about him.

I hate the complete over exaggeration of hard fouls being an every game occurance during the 80s and 90s. That shyt was reserved for the playoffs more often than not.

These dudes talk as if the was a drop the sticks and take the gloves off moment during every game.

Just annoying....and the older I get....the more I hate old niqqas from my era start creating myths to exalt themselves or their era.

Shut the fukk up!!!

I had an old teammate of mines claim me and him rushed for the same amount of yards in a game I went buck wild for over 200 yards rushing. I swear.....niqqas think time grants them permission to over embellish.

seriously. some of these guys talk as if the basketball court was some kind of crazy mad max wasteland with blood splattered all over the place, crushed skulls on the ground, everyone covered in rags and bandages...the paint was valhalla and shyt. hilarious.

The NBA in the 60s to early-mid 80s could be crazy as sh!t. They have cleaned up the game significantly since back then.

I did watch the clip. Its well known that players from Wilt's era said he would average 70 points in the 90's and 00's. You've been proven wrong time and time again.

its getting annoying dudes bringing up hard fouls too

those hard fouls were still fouls and aren't productive to the game. Bill lambeer hard fouling dudes aint do shyt in the long run accept get his stupid oaf ass fouls.

anybody watch the jordan interview? he explains how he had to start putting body weight on and get tougher bc he was getting the shyt beat out of him, and after his build up dudes arms only like half the size of bron. Lebron built like a UFC fighter. He would have beat the living shyt out of gary payton. He would have just ran through the paint and shyt on bill lambeer. Only thing dudes would have been able to do is cheap shot foul him/slam him etc. which don't mean shyt bc anybody can take a cheap shot. Doesn't make u tough and it doesn't scare anybody. Mugsy bogues could have send jordan flying on a cheap shot or a flagrant. It means nothing.

Wilt and them was exagerating , the pace being different plus more competition in the 90s anyways wouldnt allow him to average that much but if David Robinson can get over 70 in a game then Wilt could match and exceed that number and do it more than once.

2000s and beyond Wilt would annihilate every center in the NBA save maybe Shaq and thats a big maybe
