Democratic shills when you see rhetoric like this what do you think?

It's obvious that the Dems want to appeal to white grievance but where does that leave Black people?

Do a bit of research when you see narratives that are bandied about. Just because they sound great, do not mean they are really the truth. Instead, look up information to see if it is actually corroborated with hard evidence, not just feelings. Example:

"An underreported demographic story of recent years has been the emergence of vast birth-rate differences across the nation’s red state-blue state political map, as City Journal senior editor Steven Malanga explored recently. One rejoinder to the argument that red states have more babies is that they tend to be less urban. But even if we compare big cities only, stark differences persist. Fertility rates have fallen much further in deep-blue metros like Boston, Minneapolis, and Seattle than in red-state metros like Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, and Nashville. Based on estimates derived from Census data, the average woman in the city of Seattle will have 0.96 kids over her lifetime if 2022 patterns continue, for example, while her Dallas counterpart will have 2.23 children."

Instead what you are actually seeing is a possible shift of former Liberal White men turning Conservative, because of their dearth in access to the LIberal women around them. The Conservative men do not seem to be having that problem, if you look at the differences in reproduction rates.

"Young 'White' men are turning to conservatism—in politics and in Christianity

They didn’t see this coming. Liberals in America are scratching their heads trying to explain what happened in November’s election and the closer they look, the stranger it seems. There was a decided shift to the right among young men in America, crossing ethnic lines and shocking the political class. They shouldn’t have been shocked."

If you limit yourself to only looking at what the side you support are saying, you will never see the entire picture. You will end up being confused on what is going on among those you do not align with, because bothsides practice a form of propaganda and obscuring information from the masses. The only way to truly deal with an enemy effectively is to understand the enemy's motivations. You can't do that, if you never actually listen to what they are saying and watching what they are doing. You wonder why White people are always paying attention to what we are doing? Well, they understand they have to know us well enough to counter us. That is just basic military strategy.

i don't know if that tells the full story or not :patrice:

i think the red-state metro areas thats referenced have a high hispanic population versus the blue state metros and the cost of living might be lower which can contribute significantly to how much disposable income you have or how much you can save to support a future family.

That could be it too, but they also mentioned Nashville.

"Demographics. The racial composition of Nashville includes 56.51% White, 25.5% Black or African American, 4.93% other race, 3.45% Asian, and smaller percentages for Native American, Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander and multiracial populations."

Hogg is literally saying what every conservative figure is saying: dudes are sexually frustrated.

The difference is the right frames it in a way to paint women as intellectually inferior and unfair and men as the victims. Just like the right paints, black folks, immigrants, women, etc as the perpetrators victimizing white men.

The GOP electorally profits on brainless incel, racist rage

Cacs vote for racism. The Dems have not won the cac vote since the passage of the 1965 civil rights legislation.

If whites were not racist this country would be 10 times better in terms of public infrastructure, healthcare, etc.

Oh so this is one of the things you were alluding to with the Democrats racist past.

It was actually the Democrats who helped inspire the "Southern Strategy",the strategy used by Republicans to appeal to white racist, leaving black people with no true autonomy as American voters.

There was a time where the Democrats were more racist than the Republicans. And due to voter supression by the Democrats, plus sheer numbers, The Republicand continued to get mollywhopped in elections. Then the Civil rights movement came, and by black people negotiating with the very people oppressing us. We begin to take a liking to those good ol white men in the Democratic party.

Republicans understood white racism, and knew southerners would be turned off by Democrats starting to cozy up with blacks. So they saw the opening and adopted the Southern Strategy to win back white racist in the south. They started winning elections again and havent looked back since

And no,im not saying this to excuse or deflect because im a secret MAGA agent. Im saying this to say things go in cycles. Let the Democrats keep getting mollywhopped in these elections, and we will see how long before they take on a new strategy:sas2:#BothSides

Peanut gallery,i havent steered you wrong yet with the play by play and prophecy. The bolded didnt take long at all. Dems already have been talking about how white racist need to be given more leeway to express and explain their racism. "Diet Southern Strategy" coming right up. Curious to see how the coli liberal loyalist will try to sell this new vision to us as black men. Let me guess, its "less evil" right:respect:?

Okay, I should have listened to what was being discussed, because now I think David Hogg is incredibly misguided here. He's oversimplifying a real issue to the point of being dangerous. The idea that people are being "excommunicated" for saying the "wrong thing" ignores the reality that a lot of those "wrong things" are actually loud, unapologetic racism, sexism, homophobia, and so on. This isn't about people being canceled for minor mistakes, it's about accountability for harmful behavior. That's something people need to be realistic about if they're going to try to have that conversation.

Instead of framing this as a "vibe" issue or a problem of judgmental Democrats, people should be talking about how to hold space for growth without lowering standards. And we definitely shouldn't conflate structural political shifts, like the rightward drift of some young men, with just feeling uncomfortable in a conversation.

Besides that, we also have to be honest about the fact that white men, especially young white men, have always leaned conservative. That's not new. What's new is the panic around it, which tends to ignore that historical context and sometimes veers into blaming the left for "losing" a group it never really had.

Having said that, I do think these conversations are important, especially when it comes to young Black men. We can't afford to ignore the signs of disengagement or rightward drift. But that shouldn't mean trying to out-right the right, but by actually listening and addressing real economic and social concerns that help improve their (and everyone's) material conditions.

Democrats need to do far better than symbolic inclusion to counter the cynical appeals from conservatives, or a lot more young brehs are just going to check out completely - or worse - get pulled in by people who at least act like they see them.

Why do you think they don't work on symbolic inclusion with some as opposed to others?

As I said before, they should have focused on the economy and producing jobs and affordable housing for middle class. This should have been their MAIN BILLBOARD message. All this alphabet/rainbow inclusivity talk doesn't put money in peoples pockets. Plus you can't villify one group then your whole party is lowkey bedroom groupies for the same group you villify. It destroys integrity. All the patriarchy talk is killing them.

Lastly black men dont seem to have a voice anywhere, at least the yte guys have the Republican party. Democrats only used dead black men to raise money for rainbow nation. Black men are managing soley on God himself, no group investments, no politcal parties, no patriarchy nothing, soley on merit, small grassroots coops, and Heaven's mercy. Black men only voted democrat to possibly keep the police in check, and thats' barely.
