As vr becomes more mainstream you will actually see a resurgence in social skills. Kids who suffer from social anxiety are already getting conversation training in VR chariots. Coupled with interactive VR porn, most dudes will have better conversation and better sex skills than their predecessors. The biggest difference will probably be the amount of partners, I imagine these kids won't try to have multiple partners and just keep that shyt in rap.

But on the subject, I'm very skeptical of the social skills angle that is echoed. Feels somewhat like a scapegoat.
Yeah, I've never been that outgoing or one for small talk and have never had a problem eating. It's just a matter of staying busy outside of your house, but unfortunately the internet and video games have taken away this aspect of life for most people growing up these days.
It's just odd because it implies in past generations everybody had great social skills and everything worked out fine for them as if there aren't more factors coming into play for today's culture.
I don't know it just feels lazy and shallow.
