If the reports are true half of them are people that are retiring. At the end of the day this is what happens when you let a bunch of jack asses get power. As usual people will have a chance to correct this in 26 and 28. They can either complain as usual or get somebody in there that will do right by them.
Seems like only 2 are retiring and the others are 2028 and 2030 term ends.

Yes, convince the people you continually betray to give you their vote so that THIS time you'll finally follow through and do right by them. No way yall honestly think this is sustainable.
10 people of 200+ are betraying people, half of which are retiring (if this is true). If replacing incompetent people with competent ones is not sustainable what are you suggesting the people do?

When they had the leverage of the government being shut down the republicans wouldn't give them the subsidies so do they honestly think when they give up that leverage it's gonna get done?

These fools are morons and every democrat that votes in support of this should be primaried and removed from government.

They had so much leverage too. Polls going there way, a great election night, MAGA infighting and a righteous cause to feed people and provide them with healthcare.

The healthcare piece was the biggest leverage point that they had because ACA cuts across all socioeconomic demographics.

Fuck the democrats for caving on the ACA. The republicans just gonna vote the subsidies down anyway. What was the point of the shutdown all this time?
To make the democrats a non viable party and put the heat for this mess on them instead. That’s all. Primaries aren’t enough. These people need to be forced out of office immediately.

Once the leverage is gone there's no reason for republicans to go along with anything. Honestly if this was reversed the republicans would not cave and we all know it.
In their defense they have the luxury of having 45% of the vote guaranteed regardless because their constituents don’t care when they starve them.

Besides the Obamacare ACA tax credits, the heart of the shutdown was OMB withholding congressionally appropriated money. Russ Vought has frozen over $400 billion across the U.S. government this year.

This deal does nothing on that.

Those people don’t come before the people that are working without pay or the kids without food

the Dems played this right
No they didn't they literally kicked the can down the road a few months..the gop will call this a win. Just like when Schumer celebrated changing Trump's bill. It did nothing to change anything..democrats are so fukking weak.
