People don’t want unchecked immigration. And there’s nothing wrong with that.
Functionally that means you can’t allow everyone to claim asylum, stay here for years while waiting to get through the backlogged courts.
And with Americans suffering, the period where the argument was merely hire more judges as a solution no longer works.
Largely, because most people saying this don’t want to reject asylum seekers at all.
Much easier to say we can control immigration without mask men running around .

only the worst MAGA scum are showing up at Trump rallies in 2026. the dregs of society. and his behavior and appearance will be horrendous. just endless lying about how great he is, attacking women, racist rants, and gallons of orange face paint
it'll basically be one long "buyer's remorse" ad to vote Democrat in the midterms
