That footwork he gotta stop them hop steps lol

But Kerley is overrated.
You keep calling Kerely overrated because he's not a speed burner. Dude stays getting open.

You have to be rated to be overrated

Kerley can play idk what your problem with him is. You put him in the slot on a good offense and he eats.
Dude doesn't know football. He expects slot receivers to be speed burners instead of guys that get in and out of their breaks quickly in the middle of the field .

Where has Kerley failed at that?

Jeremy Kerley leaves so many yards on the field. He's no real threat. He isn't as elusive as Welker or has playmaking ability of Cruz. Dude is just an average slot receiver.

Welker isn't a playmaker. :heh: he just gets open in the middle of the field and immediately gets tackled. He's not a YAC guy.

Cruz is the exception to the rule as a slot guy. You making him the standard shows how little you really know about most slot receivers or football.

Slot guys get open in the middle of tr field like Chrebet, Welker, Amondola and others. Kerley is no different. You looking for him to be a speed guy shows just how wrong your thought process is regarding the slot receiver position

Yeah Cruz is also REALLY good. Not many slot guys can beat you over the top.

Kerley on the Pats would eat. Welker was in Brady's head like magic...but Kerley in that role would do damage.

I would take amendola off that list tho. dude can make plays all over the field. when he is healthy :heh:

slot in general has changed a lot. lots of playmakers play in the slot nowadays. cruz, cobb, santana moss, miles austin, boldin, wayne, harvin all played 60%+ of their snaps in the slot. crabs excelled while in the slot even though we barely ran 2WR sets, much less 3WR sets

with that said, Im with trip and reb here. kerley is a decent, classic slot receiver

Geno was mediocre in college anytime he faced good competiton, he was lucky to play with the best trio of wr's in college

Its better he starts at least the Jets can see how bad he is and draft Theodore B next year or Boyd

We bigging up Kerley and dude doesn't even have a 100 yard receiving game yet lol
He's a good slot receiver. You're looking for him to be a speed guy and not a multiple receptions between the hashes guy.

You don't know football like you think you do.
