Every time I want to hit the beach my peeps always say Myrtle then I'm like nah im good. I have never been to the coast or Wilmington beach

Wrightsville isn't all that. You can find something relaxing in Carolina beach. I don't particularly see a difference between either.

Outerbanks are the only beaches in NC that actually look good, but there isn't really anything to do there besides taking in nature.

After I say the second or third time you go you'll either love it or hate it. It's a forced vacation on me at this point.

There aren't strips in the outer banks like that. You won't see people strolling the strip looking for action.

Wrightsville has bars and stuff on their strip. They also have clubs and all that. I've had a lot of fun their. I think i've just grown past going to beach clubs.

OBX is a great vacation as long as you don't need to go clubbing.

Great resturaunts and bars, really laid back, can openly drink on the beach. Not a bunch of cops and shyt.

Just don't speed on 64

You aint missing much. It's like a huge one stop outlet mall and some nightclubs and bars plopped on a beach.


The aesthetics itself dont hold up to less commercial beaches. Im telling you the water is green and dingy and murky.



But it's extemely popular.

Ive always felt like the county is failing Myrtle Beach. As a town, it could really pop into a real city with the right leadership. Im thinking at least VA. Beach size.


Charleston has some really pretty lowkey, off-the-beaten path beaches too.

Myrtle Beach is the place to go if you actually want to do something besides be at the beach...way more touristy things to do. There are better beaches in NC/SC if you want to just relax on the beach

Myrtle Beach is disgusting and trashy as hell its the place you only go to after your big cousins hype it up while you're still in school at Chewning or Neal - you should never visit that spot twice

OBX is fantastic my dad would take us out there every 6 months or so. We rented out this place on Ocracoke and marveled at the hating white people while enjoying the laid back vibes

I learned how to flex out there, I'll always have love for that island
