Yeah I feel like a jerk sometime when I don't want to go, but I'll generally call her brother to make sure he's going to be there and I got someone to dip off and smoke with or talk sports etc. If he's not there i'm the only man under 40 barring a random new boyfriend someone picked up, so I'm mad bored.

And it's not like they don't have fun, but it’s normally me her uncle and her pops and a dozen women, and we just end up in a corner chatting until we as a group decide to go hold court in the main gathering. The love a breh, but they expect me to be "on" and I'm not always in the mood, but when I am, it's golden.

You're confusing DESIRE with ABILITY.

You're probably an extrovert cuz most of them think like this. My wife is one. They can't relate to not wanting to be around people all the time and think being quiet means something's wrong with you.

I even said in the previous post I don’t like small talk. I’m an extreme introvert. I prefer my own company but it doesn’t mean I’m Socially awkward. You’re making it sound like it’s the end of the world because god forbid you have to make small talk.
