All warehouse work ain't the same. The only thing they all have in common is tedious and repetitive work. Some are chilling in A/C doing easy shyt, some are back breaking in hot box trucks.

Get your money though.

This. I’ve done a lot of warehouse work. There’s some ball busting places that will pay you $12/hr with no benefits and gravy shyt that pays $20/hr.

Yo I worked nights at a warehouse gig as a merchandiser before and I'll just let you know about the workload. I worked at a big retail store and we would be stocking 20-60lb items at a fast pace for 4-5 hours of a 8 hour shift.

We were understaffed but the workload remained the same so imagine doing a 7 hour full body workout 4-5 days in a row. Managers talked shyt if you didn't keep a fast pace. Saw everyone but the forklift drivers quit within 3 months.

Said that to say, whichever company you go to ask them about the workload and how understaffed they are at the moment. You don't want to be so some and tired everyday that you can't get anything else done. Also ask if the shift ends at the scheduled time and if not how long would you expect to be held after.

The place I worked would keep us working past the end of shift and we had to get permission to clock out, it was bullshyt lol. They never tell you that during the hiring process though.

Good luck. These jobs are usually easy to get due to the turnover rate, all you have to do is be able to pass a drug test

Breh that reminds me of the Fed Ex gig I had one time. I was damn near working after 10pm even though I was supposed to leave at 9pm. I went up to the supervisor like "breh:mindblown:I thought we clock out at 9". Dude was like, "sometimes we go after 12am". I'm like :camby:and chuck the peace sign. Not worth it Even if you can't find a gig, bumming on the street is a better gig than fukking warehouse work:scust:

It you apply for Amazon makes sure it’s the delivery station it’s literally the easiest job I ever had and I get out of work at 10am

They use to have me outside directing traffic for 5 months , I literally just sat in my car on YouTube 90% of the time lol

*****Listen up breh. Don't listen to these people recommending warehouse jobs******

You got a degree but can't figure out how to get the right fitting job? You need to tailor and change your resume for every job you apply for and/or hire a career counselor instead of hustling backwards. This is the real advice you need to hear. It's not going to be easy but you can get a job in your field. You have to be persistent

Not to be rude but you sound lazy by taking these high school level call center jobs. You need to learn how to network.

Warehouse jobs in the summer ain't the move. Too damn hot and the ones I've been in don't have AC, only big ass fans.. the company is literally called bigassfans.

And if you aren't in decent/okay shape specific warehouse jobs can have you quitting on your first day or within that same week.

I say hit the gym or work at a warehouse in the fall.

Or just go ahead and try it and see how you like it. :yeshrug::manny:

The heights
If you’re a forklift driver that’s not picking orders it’s easy money tbh but if you’re loading trucks manually without equipment then :francis: pallet building isn’t that bad either depends on the weight of the product warehouse jobs can be either really easy or really hard

I'm a supervisor for a large supply chain.

It's summer and the "big ass fans" are going. Still hot, got industrial fans everywhere.

I'm over production. The things I deal with on a daily basis is basically just managing people and inventory.

Biggest part is dealing with lazy people, gossip, attitudes, promiscuity, and endless amounts of tough guys and gangsters.

The work itself is easy as long as the temps and leads are not fukking up. Mostly computer work and accuracy. Also ensuring there's a steady and efficient flow of production.

If you have a business or IT related degree and REALLY SURE that you about this warehouse life... try a supervisor or above position. You easily earn 55k or above.

Prepare yourself for unfairness and discrimination in warehouses. There will be 18 year old white boys without degrees or training, in the exact same position you're in as a graduate... or white college grads earning 25% more than you.
