This goes back to what @DarianaGrande was saying....why do people (including us) get off on showing this stuff?
Especially if they ain't trying to fix the hood up?

It just bothers me.
I remember meeting some cacs in Santa Monica at my job.
We had tourist come in all the time from around the world.

We had these Australians dudes (Fatner and Son) who came in and couldn't wait to tell us about how they drove thru Compton and saw bullet shells on the ground :gucci:

The one in Bushwick is simply a street art tour if I'm not mistaken

It would definitely be wrong if it involves ogling at locals going about their daily lives, but looking at graffiti/murals doesn't seem harmful. Bushwick is now the hipster capital of NYC so I'm not surprised there is tourism there.

OP is a middle class midwesterner who pays exorbitant rent prices with white roommates and leases exorbitantly priced flats to white people as his job

Someone quote me, I'm sure he has me blocked for consistently pointing out he's a hypocrite who either suffers from cognitive dissonance at remarkable levels, or just really wants to fit in on the internet, or both

Also want to laugh at how ANGRY this whole situation makes him that he CALLED 311 like a true WARRIOR

Also, the white population in NYC was definitely worse back in the day. Back in the 80s there were racist scumbags who would terrorize blacks in South Brooklyn, thankfully most of these people have left NYC.

I'm not sure what the demographics of the white people moving to Bushwick, I'm guessing it's a combination of white people from NYC as well as transplants.

ATL - Cleveland Ave.
The real question is why once again black people have allowed whites to profit off us. No reason some black people couldn't have put together these tours and made it something respectable. Could have even partnered with some local restaurants and gift shops and received kick backs for bringing customers in.
