Wow. What a game.
Partially loved the ending.
Also there was a lot of back and forth between her personal story and her being a “hero” , so it almost set the game up to were you should have different endings based on choices.
My only cons are:
Damn did they not pay Shinchiro the bag? Seems like he only gave em like 5 leftover track. (Still good) but I thought there would be more music.
Akira mode is dope, but only for the story mode (before easy). Wish I could play this on harder difficulties and be able to see the strike indicators (red , blue, yellow)
Doesn’t seem like there’s much to do after you beat the game. Besides collecting Ainu items if you missed em or other side quest if you don’t do them before the last mission.
Cant replay boss fights or missions

When she says “the hunt is over” to the wolf aka herself and they both part ways . Jubei dying was a bit flat. It should have been Oyuki, sacrificing herself tbh, it would have created a better resolution, especially with her fighting Saito at the end and what he’s done to her. As for Atsu, based on the writing, it almost seemed like she was suppose to die at the end… but she “transitioned” herself as the onriyo.

was a lil iffy on a couple things to start with but I’ve been mostly loving this, the over abundance of simple ass fox statue puzzles in the north got annoying fast tho

I'm at the point of no return. The only main mission left is to defeat Saito. However, now I'm doing shyt I usually don't do in games, like try to find all of the Ainu items, because I'm not ready for this journey to end yet.
Following the wind to Ainu items has lead me to like 5 different side missions that I didn't know I missed. I'm hoping that my hunt to find all vanity gear and bamboo spots will have the same result. I'm hoping to milk this story for another week.
I need new game+ and the PVE mode ASAP

I was gonna wait until NG+ to run it back, but I might just run it back from scratch after I'm done with the first run.
I wanna do them duels again. Easily my favorite part of the game.
