This is the closest I've ever gotten to beating Takeazo on Mount Yotei. I think I'm going to go ahead and do the final boss mission and do Takeazo last. If I can't beat Takeazo then, then I'll have to reduce the difficulty to Story Mode and beat him that way.

Beat Saito and Takezo last night :blessed:

I made the mistake of trying to fight Takezo the second time right after I gave him the beats the first time a few weeks ago :mjlol: I got Jazzy Jeff’d off the top of that mountain so quick

This time I was ready for action :umad: the key for me was knocking the swords out of his hand and hitting him with every throwable I had in between strikes to stop him from picking them up :mjlol:

I also had on the armor that slows freezing down (can’t think of the name right now)

Just packed out Takezo. Used maxed out Armor of the Undying, and a charm loadout of Futsunshi/Father's Charm (maxed out)/Charm of Last Chance/Charm of Mount Yotei (Level 2)/Charm of Masakado/Charm of Inner Fire. Easily one of the most entertaining bias fights I've experienced in a long while. Was completely worth it just for the sword kits. :whew:

I’m debating on getting this or Battlefield 6 later this week but so far Yōtei look too similar to Ghost Of Tsushima.

Takezo must be really a problem as my boy came over the other day and asked me where I was and immediately started asking me I fought some dude named Takezo lol.

Yeah, man. I've been slow rolling the game and finally got around the fighting hom after putting in over 40 hours, having had opportunities to gather and upgrade gear, and he still whooped my ass the first couple of times. Between how aggressive he is, and the constraints of the second half of the fight, shyt scressful, bruh.

That said, I think the move is at minimum rolling in with Father's Charm maxed out, and the Charm of Futsunushi. Having a wider window for perfect parries, and being able to heal for a solid chunk of your health bar each time you do increases for survivability quite a bit.
