just played 'Apollo Kids'....the album, not the song, for the first time in a few years. There's some serious heat on there. I forgot how dope Game was on that song 'Drama' and fukk if the Pete Rock joint 'Chunky' aka 'How You Like Me baby' isn't a monster.

12 Reasons to Die was a DOPE concept album with LIVE instrumentation.
I really enjoyed it plus I love that it was a concept album not just a bunch of tracks
thrown together.
SO I can't wait to see where he takes it with this album.

I done the same dam thing earlier this week. This thread had me pulling out Apollo Kids for my gym session, definitely some heat on there. Admittedly I hadn't listened to AK for a little while.
Just got through this Lox Interview, Sheek such a cool dude. Set me up nicely for Wu Block getting bumped in the gym later

Well, I don't know if this happened to anyone else, but this ain't album snippets. It's one long track where Ghost is describing returning to the hood and not liking the environment. It has AZ and G Rap on it as well, and it's dope as sh!t. No snippets though...I don't know why they labeled it as an album sampler

O, and by the way @GHOSTTOAST, Ghost did the best on the track 
I don't know breh, it might be snippets that are just mixed together well. I mean there are a number of beats etc.. The '36 Seasons' refrain could just be like a tag they added into the mix. It doesn't quite feel like one whole track. Not sure.

Could be. Or maybe it's just a track they did as a precursor setup track for the album. Either way, it's really nice. Has me anticipating the album more.
I don't know what it is about these band-played-beats that always sounds a little bit off. El Micheals Affair did some dope stuff on Big Doe Rehab, but I haven't really enjoyed hearing Ghost over Adrian Younge or BadBadNotGood. and now The Revalations.
