i wanna pre order the vinyl bundle but what was the problem with the pre order last time- bc i bought 12 reasons from best buy
It took 12 years to deliver...
I still like Ghost, but let's be real, he doesn't spaz on beats anymore.
He used to consistently drop 10/10 verses.
Now he drops 6/10, 7/10 ones.
Still good. But it's not the same.
His rhyming is really simplistic, his voice sounds raspy and weird, and he lost half his energy. He sounds like a generic NYC thug-drug rapper. Look at his lyrics on paper, you'd never tell him apart from a member of The LOX.
He still comes up with some nice lines - Garfield eyeballs, sniffing coke through a crazy straw. And he can still come up with an ill story (Jihad) or verse (Kanye Cruel Winter song.) But for every moment of dopeness there's like a hundred moments of meh.
We all like 12 Reasons, but come on, what song on that album is fukken with Shakey Dog?
I hope Ghost can come back and get that spark again.
He's probably bored of rhyming about coke and guns...for good reason.
Listen to his old shyt - his vocabulary and the way he stacked words together was CRAZY. Now he's just like every other rapper.
